Jauz's originals and remixes have been staples amongst just about every DJs festival set this year. This is on top of the producer / DJ also making his mark with some huge festival sets of his own.
Earlier this year his rise was further cemented with the official news of a collaboration with him and bass icon Skrillex. We've heard both producers play out versions of the song over the past few months, but this past weekend it seems the finished version has been shared. At Summer Set Music Festival this weekend a fan captured the most complete recording we've heard yet and Jauz exclaims on the mic the collab is finally finished.
Currently rumored to be titled either "Squad Out", the song blends electro and trap for a high energy stray away from Jauz's signature Future House sound. Watch and listen to the most full preview of the song to date with this 4 minute clip. We can only hope this means an official release date is around the corner. Enjoy!
Earlier this year Jaime xx released one of the best hits of the summer with "I Know There's Gonna Be (Good Times)," his collaboration with Young Thug and dancehall artist Popcaan. Now he's unleashed a new version featuring other dance hall artists Konshens, Kranium, and Assassin, Who collaborated with Kendrick Lamar on "Blacker The Berry." This is a version he premiered live, so hold tight until the official release which will be dropping soon.
Word has recently come out that N.W.A. will go on a reunion tour to coincide with the release of their biopic, Straight Outta Compton, and Eminem will join in to take the place of the late Eazy-E on the tour. Eminem is no stranger to freestyle rapping as he started as a battle rapper in Detroit as we’ve seen in his iconic movie 8 Mile. Now Eminem has hopped on the Sway in the Morning to show he still has his freestyle skills as he offers a savage 8 minute freestyle off the top of his head without missing a beat, offering choppy flows calling out everyone from Bill Cosby to Donald Trump. Enjoy!
Update: Eminem and Dr. Dre deny Universal's claim they will be doing an N.W.A. reunion tour.
Watch Chance the Rapper Explode With Excitement When Kanye West Shouts Him Out During His Set (Video)Posted in Uncategorized by nick | Tags: Bluesfest, Chance The Rappe, kanye west, Video
Chance the Rapper is on top of the world proving that you can be as succesful as anyone else without the help of a major record label. His recent album with Donnie Trumpet and his band The Social Experiement was the first ever official free release partered with iTunes which has seen millions of downloads since. He has had sold out world tours along with playing at nearly every major music festival in the US and also making some serious damage on the global festival circuit. Well regardless of all these exciting things, his idol, Kanye West just gave a huge shout out to Chance out during his RBC Ottawa Bluesfest set just last night.
Kanye says "….because chance was here tonight.. Make some noise for him. One of the most talented young new artists."
Which causes Chance to erupt with excitement as he slaps the ground and jumps in joy. It's very cool seeing this raw, humanistic side of an artist that's becoming one of the young icons in the rap world.
We can also only hope that this foreshadows the potential future collaboration between the two artists. Enjoy!
