Recent OWSLA signee josh pan has been gaining legitimate traction over the last few months. With a coveted spot on OWSLA's Worldwide Broadcast compilation, the NYC producer has quickly become an artist to watch out for. His next venture sees him remixing South Korean enigma Keith Ape and his viral hit "IT G MA," which attracted features from A$AP Ferg, Waka Flocka Flame, Father, and Dumbfoundead on the original remix.
Now josh pan has remixed the track and brings on a new stand-out verse from rising hip-hop artist Anderson .Paak to add to the already stacked roster. Anderson .Paak has quickly risen as an artist to watch following his many features on Dre's album Compton, and he's since released an impressive debut album, appeared on TV for Colbert's show, and he's just signed with Dre's Aftermath Entertainment. The remix, dubbed "Opus" keeps the backbone of the original beat while incorporating electronic tinged trap layers into the nearly 15 minute track, which might as well be a mini mix. The song also boasts co-production credits from sakuraburst, MISOGI, X&G, MEDASIN, and oshi. Even Skrillex himself had something to say about the song.
This is a masterpiece. My jaw dropped when I heard it. – Skrillex
A saga of a song, josh pan seemlessly transitions between each verse, all while creating a whole new feel to the Korean trap hit. The song will be released Feb. 12th via OWSLA, but you can stream josh pan's "Opus" now!

Whether it's a new track or a music video serving as a public service announcement, everything Diplo touches seems to turn to gold. Heavyweight producers Yellow Claw and LNY TNZ teamed up with Diplo alongside Waka Flocka Flame on "Techno" last month, and now we get the visual interpretation of this tune. This dark video depicts the path drugs take from the source to the end user ultimately dying as a direct result from these drugs. With the amount of drug-related casualties that have been happening at music festivals and shows over the past couple years, this video serves as a P.S.A. to all music fans as the video ends with "Drugs Are Not Worth The Risk" displayed at the end of the video.
