As we approach Christmas day, the gifts do not stop coming in the form of new music from some of our favorite artists.
Today we get something special from established DC rapper Wale and mixmaster and Fool's Gold label head A-Trak as they deliver a brand new full length mixtape appropriately titled 'Festivus'.
The tape, mixed and curated, by A-Trak features Wale rapping on every single track, with a massive list of guest features. They have brought out the likes of A$AP Ferg, Pusha T, Ab-Soul, Chance the Rapper & The Social Experiement and more. (Full track-list below)
While most of the tracks don't carry out a unique holidy aesthetic, they are all solid tracks. Chance the Rapper does however mange to stay in Christmas spirit on his cut "Friendship Heights" on the tape.
This mixtape is released as something fun for the fans as a precursor to Wale's upcoming studio album 'The Album About Nothing' which is set to cover more real topics. Enjoy!

The massive hip-hop track “No hands” by Waka Flocka just got a proper fresh trap treatment, compliments of trap monster CRNKN. He touched up the insanely catchy track in all the right places. Most trap songs have one good section and aren’t much of a song, this is the complete opposite. The song packs a ton of variety and never lets you get bored. Free download always making our days shine. Enjoy this trap bomb to help bring in 2013!

Time for a completely different overall sound from Skrillex with his one of his latest tracks “Trung”. This is the instrumental version to his collaboration with rapper Wale. It’s got such a funky fresh bass heavy beat that shows Skrillex in a different light. It’s hard deciding if the instrumental or version with Wale rapping is better. Which do you like more? Turn up the bass, enjoy!

Wale has dropped tons of freestyles over popular tracks that have turned out as good as the original like one of my favorite’s, an older post Hold Yuh (Major Lazer Remix) (Wale Freestyle). Today I’ve got two more freestyles from him. The first he goes in over ‘Cashin’ Out’ which is a new hip hop track from Cash Out that’s been stirring up some motion in Atlanta. Next up is a freestyle over the incredibly mellow “Purple Swag” by A$AP Rocky. Then last up we’ve got a freestyle over the radio hit ‘Rack City’ by Tyga. He pumps all these track full of his DC hip hop flow. Enjoy!
