Hip hop and dubstep are two genres that work incredibly well together, and today I’ve got a track that surfaced a few weeks ago that blends both the genres very well. It’s a sick track from XV ft. Wiz Khalifa, remixed by Figure, the guy who made the epic Beatlejuice dubstep remix. This song blends the original vocals with his grimey bass for a great remix. Turn it up, enjoy!

Vizzy is back with another new track following up the recently dropped incredibly catchy BITSU that samples Jai Paul. Well this new track has a real chill mellowed out storyteller vibe to it. The beat produced by DJ Tech-Neek is very chill and has some dramatic string sounds that build up and down throughout giving it a cinematic feel. He delivers some solid bars and a nice chorus. Today I’ve got a very creative hip hop track, from XV. For those unaware, check out the V for Vizzy Best Of mixtape to get caught up. Well he sampled the very sick chilled out track BTSTU by Jai Paul, and killed it. XV’s flow and the already sick sounding electronic track blend for an amazing combination. It’s got a raw freestyle vibe, but still sounds like a hit. Enough talking, chill, enjoy!

XV is such a sick rapper, and you guys loved the V for Vizzy: Best of XV Mixtape which seriously was one of the better mixtapes I’ve heard in awhile, because it’s such a good collection of his songs. I’ve got a remix of one of my favorites, ‘Mirror’s Edge’. It’s done by Culture of Thieves, and it’s not necessarily the most BANGER remix, but a chilled out dubstep track, but still very sick.

The reason I checked out this song was because it featured XV, who has become one of my favorite rappers with his Best Of Mixtape. The groups name is All Out, and the are in the 3Oh!3, LMFAO genre. Party, Pop, Hip-Hop, Dance, it’s a mix of all the genres to make a sick catchy high energy song. XV’s part is sick, and the song overall is just too sick and pretty catchy. I know it’s gonna be a little poppy for some, but at least give it a chance. Enjoy!

So with the crazy amount of sick music on the internet, certain artists slip through the cracks and I don’t post nearly enough of their material. XV the sick up and coming rapper from Kansas has been a mixtape artist for a couple years and recently just signed with Warner Bros. so we’ll see what bigs things are in store. Well today I’ve got V for Vizzy: The Best of XV, a mixtape of some of his best material out yet. I featured T.A.L.K. a while back and you guys loved it which made it’s way to this mixtape, if you haven’t heard go give it a listen. He’s got a real sick style that reminds me of B.o.B. and Wale for some reason. If you attend CU Boulder get ready to see XV open for Chiddy Bang and Pnuma Trio for Welcomefest this Saturday! Sick New Pop/Rap Song: XV – T.A.L.K

I’m loving the rise in pop/rap genre clashing, such as Chiddy Bang, Sam Adams, Hoodie Allen, etc. Well this new group of muscians, that are not quite R&B, but not nececarily Hip-Hop. Well XV is one of the more popular names in the mixtape scene. Making his name out of Kansas, didn’t know there was a rap scne there. This latest single titled ‘T.A.L.K.’ is catchy, upbeat, and just sick. The beat is sooo sick, and the rapping adds to it perfectly. Give this chill song a listen and enjoy!
