World renowned production company The Light Group have teamed up with Cirque De Soleil and MGM Studios to create the new game changing LIGHT Nightclub at Mandalay Bay Hotel in Las Vegas set to open on April 26th, 2013.
LIGHT promises to be one of the most unique experiences in the world as it is the very first nightclub turned on by the world famous Circus Art themed Cirque De Soleil, the group who has been responsible for some best live entertainment for decades. The venue will taking place at an insanely impressive 38,000 square feet indoor venue; which is set to be filled to the brim with state-of-the-art lights, lasers, theatrical dancers special effects and.. fittingly impressive live music.
To live up to such an incredible idea, they had to bring out an all star lineup. The man paving the way for bass music world-wide Skrillex will be amongst one of the first residents to properly set off such an incredible place. One third of Swedish House Mafia, Sebastian Ingrosso will be holding down his first ever Las Vegas residency at LIGHT. Rising electronic icon Zedd will also be joining this impressive residency. And what better then to finish off this well rounded lineup of fresh electronic talent then trap / bass beast Baauer.
With this well rounded lineup, and possibly one of the coolest ideas for a nightclub ever, LIGHT looks to seriously change the way you experience electronic music. I can only imagine how amazing this is going to be, who is excited?

The remix package for “Clarity” from Zedd is set to release February 12th and will feature remixes from Tiesto, Brillz, Torro Torro and Style of Eye. Today we have the premiere of the electro house anthem from Style of Eye, and it is fit to shake stadiums and festivals across the world. It even gives Tiesto’s remix a good run for it’s money. Swedish based Style of Eye gives the song a nice dramatic build, then drops to a non stop blast of bass. Late Night with David Letterman is a very popular late night show in America which gets broadcasted nationally on CBS. The show has been the national debut of countless rising musical acts, which in the past have always been pop, rock, indie, but never an electronic producer. Who better then Zedd to break the pattern and be the first EDM act to appear on the show, and delivering a live piano rendtion of “Clartiy” off his debut album with the same name. Accompanying him is vocalist Foxes, and even Alvin Risk slips in for a cameo adding some additional vocals. He has stated that he always starts his production by first creating the piano line, so this transition makes complete sense. He really kills it, and Foxes does a great job as well. I hope this is the start of more electronic acts making their national debut on David Letterman. Enjoy!
