PREMIERE | Kidswaste’s Side Project ‘Beauvois’ Shines With Lush New Single “Jupiter”

|||,

For those of you who’ve been following us, you’re likely familiar with the name Kidswaste. We’ve been a fan of the 20-year-old for some time now, and he’s started a new chapter in his career. Real name Quentin Beauvois, the young producer has launched a new project under his last name Beauvois, and we’re excited to unveil his latest single. Today we have the pleasure of premiering the lead single “Jupiter” off Beauvois’ forthcoming Dimensions EP.

I've always envisioned the Beauvois sound as something ethereal, dreamy, and easy to listen to. Most of the track titles are usually reminiscent of something that's bigger than us, that we can't grasp entirely. This is what the Dimensions EP is to me – simple songs with no particular meaning; that will push you to think bigger about things, or just be contemplative of how small we are. Bigger than the universe, Dimensions is pushing the idea that there's more than one reality, and that ours may not be the one we fit it or deserve – but it's there, and we need to cherish it. -Beauvois

We’ve heard his dreamy music as Kidswaste and as part of the Slow Hours group, and now we get a taste of the other side of his creativity. Characterized by lush melodies, bright vocal chops and gentle guitar licks, Beauvois shows off both his sound design and knack for songwriting on “Jupiter.” This new project gives the talented artist an outlet to put out music on his own terms without feeling pressure, and we’re loving it so far. Stay tuned for more and enjoy!
