Barclay Crenshaw Unleashes Dreamy Remix Of Bon Iver’s “715 – CRΣΣKS”

|

Claude VonStroke took the stage at Coachella’s Gobi Tent this past weekend in the form of his experimental bass alter ego Barclay Crenshaw. Although Claude has performed at some of the biggest events in the world, this was his biggest appearance as Barclay Crenshaw so far. To celebrate, Barclay has decided to unleash one of his secret weapons that he’s been utilizing in his live sets, his remix of Bon Iver’s “715 – CRΣΣKS

Bon Iver’s original tune is a brief acapella that features Justin Vernon’s distinguished autotuned voice, a track that most would consider to be an interlude on their full length album 22, A Million. Barclay takes this all the empty space in “715 – CRΣΣKS” and fleshes it out to turn into a full, cohesive track.

It’s not often that remixes can blow original tracks out of the water, but that’s exactly what Barclay Crenshaw accomplished with this new release. In fact, this may even replace Bon Iver’s original tune in our music library completely. Keep up the good work, Barclay. Enjoy!
