Bondax Impress On Funky New Electronic R&B Single “Real Thing”

|||,

UK-based duo Bondax just dropped their new disco-inspired dance track “Real Thing” and it's just what we wanted from the young artists. Following up their funky dancefloor heater, “Neo Soul,” today’s tune is the duo’s first single from their forthcoming album Revolve. Bondax accompany the release of “Real Thing” with a cryptic music video that contrasts its chilled-out vibe.

“Real Thing” features soulful vocals from singer-songwriter Andreya Triana, who has collaborated with artists such as Flying Lotus and Bonobo in the past. Bondax flesh out the groovy single with funky bass, gliding strings, and subtle synth work. The dramatic music video leaves us questioning what’s real as one man dances around a house in various outfits, often arguing with himself or clenching his head in distress.

“Real Thing” delivers on every front with its clever video and upbeat musical progressions. Bondax will be dropping Revolve via Recur Recordings later this month on July 29. Check out the album’s first single and music video below and enjoy!
