It's been a monumental year for Los Angeles production duo Boombox Cartel. They capped off 2015 with two major collaborations -- "Flip" with Bro Safari and "Aftershock" with NGHTMRE -- and continue their equally strong momentum in 2016 with "Supernatural", a collaboration with New Zealand producer QUIX.
The highly anticipated release lands on Mad Decent and follows Boombox Cartel's signing to the label. "Supernatural" combines the duo's stellar trap arrangements and chilling melodies with QUIX's distinctive bass style that exudes both rawness and grittiness. The release features singer Anjulie whose sultry vocals add warmth to the track and amplify its harmonious progressions.
Don't get too comfortable though. Boombox Cartel and QUIX switch things up after the trap drop with a future bass styling. Stream "Supernatural" below and enjoy!
