Claude VonStroke & Eprom Team Up And Drop Seriously Heavy Techno Track “Grenade”

||

When we first saw that Dirtybird label boss Claude VonStroke and the wicked bass sorcerer Eprom were collaborating together, we could hardly believe it. The two have collaborated on a track before, but that was part of Claude’s experimental bass project, Barclay Crenshaw. Seeing the name Claude VonStroke appear next to Eprom’s name was shocking. What kind of music was going to come from combining one of the best names in tech-house with one the best names in bass music? Well, we finally found out today, and the result, “Grenade”, is an absolute monster of a track.

We first came across “Grenade” when watching Claude VonStroke’s set from Dirtybird Campout West last year. Although the track was one of the clear high points of the set, we had no clue who could have produced such an outrageous heater. When it was revealed that this was indeed a collab between Claude VonStroke and Eprom on Claude’s radio show, The Birdhouse, it all started to make sense. Claude has shown the highest of praise to Eprom in the past, calling him “one of the greatest” and inviting him to each and every Dirtybird Campout to perform.

“Grenade” is a clear step outside each of the producer’s comfort zones. It’s not technically house, nor is it bass music. It’s an insanely heavy techno track that is sure to melt faces when dropped on any dance floor. Enjoy!
