French singer Charlotte Gainsbourg has released a new song “Rest” which was co-written and composed by Daft Punk’s Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo. “Rest” is the title track of Gainsbourg’s upcoming album that is slated to drop November 17th, which will be her first full-length album since her 2010 album IRM.
“Rest” is super ambient, relaxed and switches back and forth between French and English. But, the composition coming from one-half of Daft Punk is what is intriguing to TSIS, as the legendary duo have been relatively active lately. They released a collaborative track with Parcels, worked with Arcade Fire and performed with The Weeknd all this year. And now, they have delivered another incredible collaborative track with Charlotte Gainsbourg… Enjoy!
