Donald Glover & Marvel Are Working On Animated ‘Deadpool’ Series For FX

||

It seems that Donald Glover aka Childish Gambino would have his hands full between putting out an excellent album with a lead single that went platinum, creating an award winning TV show, and landing major roles in both a Han Solo film and a live-action Lion King remake. Apparently no one has told the musician/comedian/actor/writer to slow down, because today it was announced that he will be bringing a new Deadpool animated series to FXX.

After Ryan Reynolds brought Deadpool to the big screen, which went on to become the highest grossing R-rated movie of all time, fans haven't been able to get enough of the eccentric superhero. Donald Glover will be working with his brother Stephen Glover (a writer on Atlanta) to create this adult cartoon that is sure to be an instant success. The brothers will work alongside Marvel as showrunners, executive producers and writers. The 10-episode first season is expected to land on FXX sometime in 2018, which will release alongside the sequel to the Deadpool movie next year. Enjoy!
