Ekali Shares New Sample Pack & Donates Proceeds Back to Vancouver High School Music Programs

||

With a diverse repertoire of releases such as the wonderfully sinister “Blame” with ZHU or the touching “Past Life” with Opia, fluid mixing skills displayed on his infectious “Awakening” mix series and much more, Ekali consistently stakes his claim as one of the fastest rising producers in the game right now. Today, however, the Canadian artist is proving his influence in a different way through giving back.

Yesterday Ekali announced the release of his “Ekali Kit Vol. III,” a sample pack for producers to use that features both remixes and original samples from songs like “Blame,” “Past Life” and “Babylon,” according to the pack’s description online. Instead of keep the profits this time around, Ekali will be donating all of the proceeds to high school music programs in his hometown of Vancouver, BC. Amid budget cuts and more, a problem that both the U.S. and Canada face in this day and age, many schools can’t afford to provide their students with basic instruments to play with. Ekali plans to purchase instruments for these students, with a plan to inform his fans how the money will be used in the works.

The pack’s starting price is $10, with the option available to donate even more. In just one day Ekali has raised a staggering $4,000, with artists like Dirty Audio even donating some of their cash to the cause. Find the pack below and enjoy!
