LA based crooner Gallant has risen as an artist to watch as he’s coming off an exciting 2015 in which he’s become one of our favorite rising vocalists. As a member on the Mind of a Genius label alongside ZHU, this talented singer made his name known after his breakout single “Weight In Gold,” and has gone on to launch his acoustic video series titled In The Room with the first installment alongside Sufjan Stevens, and recently shared his “Skipping Stones” collab with Jhene Aiko.
Now he’s announced the big news of his forthcoming debut studio album Ology set to release April 6th and has shared a new single off the project. Gallant’s latest work “Bourbon” was premiered via Zane Lowe on Beats 1 where he explained his influence from 80s R&B duo Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis, which is apparent in this new track as the instrumental brings an 80s vibe. His authentic, piercing R&B vocals show off his incredible range as he delivers a somber vibe with the lush neo-soul production as the third single off his project. Catch him on tour with ZHU and enjoy! See tour dates below player.
