TSIS favorite GRiZ has been relatively busy so far this year, but as 2017 will soon be coming to a close, the multi-instrumentalist producer has just begun to get in the GRiZmas spirit. But while many of us know GRiZ for his chill future funk electronic sound, today the Detroit-based artist has given us a glimpse of his heavier production side with a heavy dubstep remix of Freddy Todd’s “Audible Edibles”.
Even though we previously saw both GRiZ and Freddy Todd’s name appear on a collab from this years Electric Forest, be warned, this latest offering is nothing like the GRiZ you’re expecting. Starting off explosively fast, you’ll definitely want to turn the bass up to 11 for this 2-minute long remix. Filled with heavy, pulsing bass, abrasive growls, skittering percussion and disorienting pitched vocal chops, GRiZ proved he has no genre boundaries when it comes to incredible production. Check out his remix of “Audible Edibles” below and enjoy!
