Gucci Mane Drops Star Studded Album ‘Mr. Davis’ Ft. A$AP Rocky, The Weeknd, ScHoolboy Q & More

Gucci Mane has been on a hot streak since his release from prison last May, and his new feature-heavy album Mr. Davis is some of the best music he's put out since then. The album includes the previously released collaboration with The Weeknd, "Curve," in addition to features from A$AP Rocky, ScHoolboy Q, Migos, Big Sean ,Ty Dolla $ign, and more.

In the time since he has been out, Gucci looks and sounds like a completely different man. By focusing on his health and sobriety, it is clear that he is more focused than ever and is an incredibly inspiring comeback story to watch. Since last May, he released six new projects, had a #1 song with Rae Sremmurd  ("Black Beatles"), proposed to his long-time girlfriend, and wrote an autobiography. For most artists, this much packed into one year would result in a decline in the quality of music. But Gucci is not like most, and his insane output shows his dedication to his work ethic.

For the new album, he calls upon some of the biggest producers from Atlanta right now to provide the beats, including Metro Boomin, Mike Will Made-It, Zaytoven, Murda Beatz, and TM88. The clear Atlanta trap sound is the perfect backing for Gucci's improved rapping and confidence on the mic, starting off with an incredibly impressive intro (as he is known to do). All the featured artists bring their A-game, but none take the spotlight away from Gucci who remains the star of the album.

If this is what his first year has looked like for the new Gucci Mane, we can't wait to see where his already prosperous career will go from here. Enjoy!
