It’s been a bit since we’ve heard a Kasbo remix, and today we’re really in for a treat. With his incredible debut album Places We Don't Know dropping earlier this year via ODESZA's Foreign Family Collective, the talented Swedish artist has just taken on Ed Sheeran’s “Happier” for a magic remix, and it’s just what we’d want from the TSIS favorite.
Some of the more recent remixes we’ve heard from Kasbo include his amazing reworks of Jai Wolf’s “Indian Summer” and Big Gigantic’s “The Little Things” with this new one as the perfect addition to his arsenal. Kasbo has a way of recreating songs from the ground up, and takes this same approach here. Kasbo builds around Sheeran’s vocals with layer upon layer of lush production capturing his unique indie electronic sound we've come to love over the years.
He introduces dreamy melodies, laid back percussion and a euphoric climax capturing his signature, mystical sound design packed with emotion. Listen below and enjoy!
