Liquid Stranger has teamed up with rising artist PROKO for a grimy banger of a collaboration entitled “UFO.” Liquid Stranger has amassed a dedicated fan base with his avant-garde production style, consisting of gritty synths and minimalistic arrangement, which he labels “Free Form Bass.” PROKO is an obvious choice for a collaboration, with his “SLIMEPUNK” style that exudes slimy, dirty vibes. His alien persona undoubtedly makes for a central theme in “UFO,” which we have the pleasure of premiering today.
The atmosphere for “UFO” is set with the distorted voice of what sounds like a reporter from the 1950’s discussing what appears to be an alien saucer flying in the sky. The tension builds with echoing and rising synths before dropping with robotic bass, glitchy samples, and extraterrestrial synths. The collaborators break things down midway through with whipping, squashed bass and bouncy, broken synth melodies, changing things up and shifting the vibe. Listen to “UFO” below via WAKAAN, be on the lookout for more bangers from Liquid Stranger and PROKO, and enjoy!
