[PREMIERE] Manila Killa and AObeats Team Up For Upbeat Future Bass Track “I’m Ok” Feat. Shaylen

||, |, ,

Manila Killa has long been known for creating chilled-out tracks all over the spectrum, from his indie original “All That’s Left” to a euphoric remix of Caribou’s “Can’t Do Without You.” For his most recent track he's teamed up with impressive LA-based artist AObeats on “I’m Ok” feat. Shaylen, out today on Big Beat Records and Moving Castle. The two have worked together before, creating a deep remix of Corona’s “Rhythm of the Night” along with Candle Weather, the other half of Manila Killa’s side project Hotel Garuda.

"I'm OK is such a special song because it's the first time we've officially collaborated since 2015 for Helix 2.0. We've always been able to lock in together creatively and this one felt especially memorable since we were able to release the single on our label Moving Castle. Plus Shaylen is very talented and we're so stoked she could be a part of this song!" ~ AObeats & Manila Killa

Despite some somber lyrics, “I’m Ok” is an overall feel-good track we have the pleasure of premiering. The simple yet captivating production allows Shaylen’s smooth vocals to shine, steadily building into a future bass drop that showcases the unique style of the two artists. More and more upbeat synths are layered in by the second drop, keeping the song fresh and exciting. The heartfelt lyrics juxtapose well with the overall buoyant production, making this an intoxicating track from start to finish. Check out “I’m Ok” below and enjoy!
