ODESZA’s 2017 album A Moment Apart was something truly special. Having been nominated for a Grammy and easily taking #1 on our top electronic albums list of last year, we continue to be impressed by absolutely everything ODESZA puts out. Now, in continuing the streak of videos in which Harrison and Clay explain the inspiration behind the album, today the duo has shared a new behind-the-scenes look at their track “Higher Ground” alongside the talented Naomi Wild.

As we’ve seen in the past with the making of “Meridian” and “Across The Room”, there’s a special story behind every track off A Moment Apart. In the case of “Higher Ground”, the duo explain their need to escape the pressures surrounding the album, inevitably leading them to receive an email from Naomi Wild with a voice note that would go on to become the lead vocals on the track, and was the backbone they built the production around. Check out the full inside look at “Higher Ground” below and make sure to enter for a chance to win VIP tickets to ODESZA’s Red Rocks takeover this weekend (June 15 & 16). Enjoy!
