Past Bonnaroo Organizer Announces New 2016 Music Festival ‘Okeechobee’ With Impressive Lineup

||

It's always exciting to bring news of a new festival, especially when there are people involved who have a track record for great things. One of the most diverse festivals in the US is Bonnaroo; which has brought some of the best festival sets in the country's history.  Well one of the key members has left the festival, on good terms to pursue his own things. The guy responsible for the festival's legendary SuperJams joined the team at Okeechobee Music Festival to create something new and exciting.

Okeechobee will take place about 20 miles north of in the city of the same name: Okeechobee, Florida. The site, is a gorgeous: grassy and forested, with large open fields making for the perfect festival scene. The festival is said to have just about everything from massive main stages to both jungle and beach stages. The beach stage properly titled "Aquachobee" will be a sunrise to sunset stage where you will be able to swim while enjoying the music. The jungle stage titled "Lost Jungle" will be a sunset to sunrise stage in a heavily forested area primarily focusing on electronic music where you will be able to dance until you can't anymore.

On top of all of this, Okeechobee just released the first wave of the lineup, and it has us sold already. Ranging from bass ambassador Skrillex, to rap and r&b key players Kendrick Lamar, Future, Fetty Wap, and Miguel, to modern rock icons Mumford & Sons to round out one of the most eclectic headliners we've seen in awhile. Other exciting names include Big Gigantic, RL Grime, Gramatik, Bonobo (DJ set) among many others.

The first wave of early bird tickets are almost gone, so grab them here while they are still available. I would heavily consider making the trip and plan before prices go up. The TSIS team will be down in Florida for this one and we hope to see you out there!
