Run The Jewels have made an appearance on NPR’s latest Tiny Desk Concert where artists perform stripped-down versions of songs in a cramped space. The series typically brings in full bands to perform in the small space, but they switch things up on the latest edition.
While similar artists like Anderson .Paak, Gucci Mane, D.R.A.M. and Gallant have been a part of the series, Run The Jewels are a change of pace as they don’t bring any instruments with them. They performed "Talk to Me", "Legend Has It" and "A Report to the Shareholders" off their recent RTJ3 album. Killer Mike and EL-P display their chemistry with one another as they assist each other on their verses bouncing back and forth effortlessly. They’re clearly having fun during the performance as they get some crowd engagement and Killer Mike even attempts an a capella verse. Enjoy!
