San Holo has had a huge year so far. In the past few months alone, the Dutch producer dropped his incredible single, “I Still See Your Face”, a second bitbird label compilation (including a mega collab) and even set out on a massive North America tour. Today, he’s let us know that he isn’t finished with 2017 yet, with the release of brand new single, “One Thing”.
Judging by his latest releases (“I Still See Your Face” & “The Future”) San seems to have reached a reflective point in his life – which may be perfectly exemplified by this latest offering. Starting off quick with an upbeat harpsichord melody and a soft pad, LA-based singer Cara Salimando’s gentle vocals float in, giving the track an emotional, melancholic vibe. Some energetic percussion and soft guitar slowly progress the song into a powerful drop filled with lush pulsing synths, booming bass and skittering vocal chops.
