Talib Kweli has brought together quite the collaboration on his new single "Traveling Light" enlisting the talents of Kaytranada and Anderson .Paak. The song comes early off Kweli’s Radio Silence EP due this Friday and combines a few of our favorite artists.
Ahead of the full project, Kweli joined Zane Lowe for an interview on Beats 1 sharing his insights of working with Anderson .Paak and Kaytranada saying “Anderson reminds me of when I first heard Cee-Lo Green. You know, when you first heard Cee-Lo Green, you think you’re listening to a 60-year old black man who’s weathered and wrinkled, like he’s lived some experiences.” Talib Kweli spits his signature bars while Kaytranada crafts a frantic beat heavliy sampling horns as Anderson .Paak’s raspy crooning ties everything together. The full project brings collaborations from Mr. Carmack, BJ The Chicago Kid, Gucci Mane, Jay Electronica, Rick Ross, Bilal, Amber Coffman and more. Enjoy!
