It's been a hot minute since we've heard new music from Thomas Jack, but the fun-loving DJ/producer now returns with his sophomore single, "Rise Up" featuring Jasmine Thompson, following up his debut original single "Rivers".
While Jack is primarily known for spearheading the tropical house movement, his new tune delivers a pleasant sun-kissed detour that broadens his repertoire. Listen below:
The song hits a sweet spot in regards to contrast as a jazzy high-pitched whistle runs parallel to a warm bass line to create a smooth balance. Thompson's soothing vocals make her a perfect match for the laid-back track, and to no surprise either. She's previously worked on records with burgeoning tropical acts Robin Schulz and Felix Jaehn.
While it is unknown as to how much time it will be until Thomas Jack dishes out more from his unreleased discography, the producer has assured his fans that he has "more new music on the way so stay tuned." In the meantime, you can jam out to "Rise Up" above!
