What So Not has been an electronic music staple for years, but on March 9 he will finally drop his highly anticipated debut album titled Not All The Beautiful Things. The tracklist is stacked with brilliant producers and vocalists including Skrillex, San Holo, Slumberjack, and even Toto (yes, the one who sang Africa), but what we’re looking forward to most is hearing where WSN decides to take his ever-evolving sound. In January he dropped “Stuck In Orbit” ft. BUOY, a slow, emotional track that was a stark departure from bangers like his remix of AWOLNATION’s “Run” with QUIX.
WSN’s latest release “Beautiful” ft. Winona Oak continues to explore the more emotional side of his sound, but incorporates harder-hitting electronic elements that make this song as addicting as it is meaningful. The track opens with Winona’s delicate vocals and quickly swells into a dark, tribal drop that builds into a fast-paced chorus bursting with energy. Throughout the track, the energy levels oscillate from borderline ambient to thumping, high-BPM rhythms.
Keep your eyes out for the full album Not All The Beautiful Things out on March 9! Enjoy!
