ZHU Shares Dark House Single "Nightcrawler" + Announces 'The Blacklizt'

A few days ago, ZHU uploaded a video to Instagram with the caption, "join the Blacklizt". By the end of the minute-long, black and white video, a list of eight crossed-out names on a casket were shown including acts like Marshmello, The Chainsmokers and more. After the first listen through, we had a good feeling that  ZHU was not only making a statement, but teasing new music of his. Our hunch was right as he now shares "Nightcrawler", a moody house tune that incorporates dark ambient pads and a bouncy bassline.

The beauty of "Nightcrawler" is in it's layering, gradually adding on new elements like bright orchestral strings, crisp percussion, soft piano keys and ZHU's smooth vocals alongside vocal samples. Beyond the song, the meaning behind it is what we're still wondering about. He announced THE BLACKLIZT today, but has yet to reveal exactly what the announcement is all about. Whether it be a new EP, album or events, you can plug in your phone number to his new website, www.blacklizt.club, where updates will be provided. Stay tuned for more details and in the meantime, listen to "Nightcrawler" below. Enjoy!
