REZZ Drops 30 Mins Of Unreleased Original Music In Insane Audio/Visual Mix "Nightmare On Rezz Street"

rezznightmare

REZZ just dropped 30 minutes of unreleased, original music just in time for Halloween. Last week she launched a cryptic countdown website nightmareonrezzstreet.com and told fans that she would be releasing something “EXTREMELY special around Halloween”, which caused widespread excitement and speculation from her self-described cult following. We last heard original music from REZZ when she released her incredible sophomore album A Certain Kind Of Magic this August.

The mix is called “Nightmare on Rezz Street” and is an immersive audio/visual experience with over 30 minutes of unreleased original music from REZZ. The first track sets the tone for the entire mix, pairing deep mid-tempo bass with laser-like synths that prove, once again, that REZZ’s production is second to none. The visuals are halfway between a horror movie and a festival mainstage, mixing geometric patterns with eerie scenes cut from old films and fully animated sequences that depict REZZ conjuring fire with dark magic. Enjoy!

Duke & Jones Make TSIS Debut With Wonky, Genre-Blending ‘Dystopia’ EP Via Deadbeats

duke & jones dystopia ep

Manchester-based duo Duke & Jones have been absolutely killing it lately. Coming off some recent remixes of Zeds Dead & Jauz’ “Lights Go Down” and Zedd & Elley Duhé’s “Happy Now”, today they’ve continued to impress with their heavy new 4-track Dystopia EP.

It’s apparent Duke & Jones put some long hours in on this latest offering. Starting off with their previously released single “Fade To Black”, each of the EP’s four tracks seems to drop deeper and deeper into a eerie, alien-like sonic realm. From wonky, disorienting synth wobbles to skittering percussion and booming bass, this new project will definitely have your brain doing backflips. Stream Dystopia below, out now on Deadbeats and enjoy!

Action Bronson Delivers Reflective New Track “Prince Charming” Off Upcoming Album

Today we get the second peek into Action Bronson’s forthcoming album White Bronco. Action graced the world with a brand new single this morning titled “Prince Charming,” and it has us thirstier than ever for the drop of the full project, which is due out November 1.

With a track name like “Prince Charming,” we could expect Action to be as braggadocious as ever, and he does have some hilariously boastful bars like “Me by myself is like the four horsemen.” The track as whole however, listens like a stream of consciousness for Bronsolino. He touches on anger, his own mortality, and foreboding, but eventually comes back around and concludes with:

“These motherfuckers must be crazy, ‘cause I ain't going nowhere / Until I'm called up to the stars, then I'll go there / Until then, I'm back here to live another life / But for now I'm asking ladies like "What's up tonight?"

Action will always be one of our favorite lyricists, and if “Prince Charming” is a representation of what’s to come on White Bronco, we already know it’s going to be great. We also must give a shoutout to the buttery smooth production by veteran hip-hop beat maker Knxwledge (who's worked with extensively with Anderson .Paak).
