GRiZ Drops Incredible ‘Good Will Continue’ Remix Album Ft. Opiuo, Barclay Crenshaw, Boogie T & More

griz good will continue

GRiZ’s exciting Good Will Continue remix album is finally here! A household name for future funk and overall electronic fans alike, this Detroit-born producer has been a TSIS favorite since we started covering music years ago. After watching him grow since then, it’s safe to say 2017 has been GRiZ’s biggest year yet. He started off strong back in January when he reunited with Gramatik to drop “As We Proceed,” which has remained one of the biggest tracks of the year so far. He hasn’t slowed down since, appearing on a staggering amount of festival lineups, announcing his two-day Red Rocks event (which will include his live band debut), hosting GRiZMAS in July and much, much more.

Today GRiZ has kept that momentum as strong as ever with the drop of Good Will Continue, the long awaited remix album that he announced a month ago in addition to sharing a track from the album: Opiuo’s psychedelic take on “PS GFY,” which we premiered on the site in July. The 13-track album features both familiar and fresh faces to the industry, with the reworks branching into genres of all kinds. Artists like AC Slater, Claude VonStroke as Barclay Crenshaw, Tommy Trash and more offer their takes on GRiZ favorites, with each bringing their own signatures ranging from house, trap, funk, electro house and more to the tracks. What results is a fantastically diverse offering that has a little something for everyone within. Check out Good Will Continue and the accompanying tour dates below. Enjoy!

Jauz Shares New Heavy Bass House Single “Alpha”

JAUZ Alpha

It’s starting to seem very likely that Jauz may actually be part shark. How else could it be possible to drop five new singles in just over a month other than by abandoning the need to sleep? From a heavy bass house collab with Crankdat to his recent remix of Lil Uzi Vert's “XO TOUR Llif3”, the LA-based artists is barely giving us any time to recover between releases and we’re loving it. Today he’s asserted his dominance even more by sharing another heavy-hitting single titled “Alpha”.

Jauz continues upon his streak of unique bass house releases with this latest offering. Starting off with a dark, abrasive pad and some acoustic drums, a warbling melody and steady kick slowly progresses the song forward. Some distant vocal chops and skittering percussion throw the track into a powerful drop filled with snarling synths, distorted wobbles and coarse, pulsing bass. Check out Jauz’s new single “Alpha” below and enjoy!

Herobust Share’s Video Game-Inspired Dubstep Track “First Person Shooter”

Herobust First Person shooter

It’s been a huge year so far for Herobust. Having dropped an incredible 6-track Vertebreaker EP only to BUST it himself four months later with a VIP of "Move Mint"; then in the same month drop one of the hottest riddim tracks of the summer with MONXX...Hayden Kramer has definitely been doing the most. Now, with four months left in the year, the Atlanta-based producer has just let us know that he isn’t done with 2017 yet, with the release of his latest single, “First Person Shooter”.

Herobust took things in an awesome new direction with this latest offering. Starting off sounding like a vintage video game, this adventure starts off with a whimsical 8-bit intro that immediately transports the listener back in time to a retro arcade. Player beware though: this isn’t Pacman. Things quickly start to take a dark turn as you reach one of the game’s bosses and the track is thrown into a ridiculously dirty dubstep drop filled with bit-crushed gunfire, abrasive growls, distorted sirens and the sound of bullet casings constantly hitting the ground. Get your quarters ready and hit start on Herobust’s “First Person Shooter” below. Enjoy!
