[PREMIERE] EPROM Shares Heavy New Single “Oksana” Off Forthcoming EP

Eprom Oskana

EPROM is showing 2017 no mercy. He’s already released two monster EPs, Pineapple and also Acid Disk with his new partner in crime, G Jones. In fact, the two are still on their massive b2b tour which goes all the way until late February of next year. Today, EPROM drops his first single from his third EP of the year, Drone Warfare

The track is titled “Oksana,” and it’s dripping wet with that heavy, distorted bass that we adore EPROM for. A wailing vocal cut loops in the background behind a concise drum beat, and the bassline does the rest. Anything with EPROM’s name on it will grab our attention, but this single goes especially hard. As with all of his releases, it is highly recommended blasting this on some speakers that can handle some serious low-end.

“Oksana” may be less than two and a half minutes, but for that time, you’re lost in EPROM’s world of nebulous bass. Take a listen to his track right here, and be on the look out for the official release of Drone Warfare, due out on November 28th via 1985 Records. Enjoy!

LOUDPVCK Release First Solo Single “JUMANJI” Featuring Atlanta Rapper Reese LaFlare

Loudpvck

It’s been only two weeks since longtime trap duo LOUDPVCK decided to part ways, leaving Kenny Beats in full control of their direction, but he’s already got new music for us. The brand new track, “JUMANJI,” has much stronger hip-hop elements than their previous music, featuring Atlanta rapper and Two-9 co-founder Reese LaFlare. This direction doesn’t come as much of a surprise, considering Kenny Beats has been producing beats for rappers like Hoodrich Juan Pablo and Schoolboy Q for years.

What’s unique about “JUMANJI” is the way it blends the new school hip-hop sound with classic LOUDPVCK trap. The track starts out with heavily distorted bass with Reese LaFlare quickly hopping on the beat. At this point it sounds like it could be a straight hip-hop banger, but before we know it, we’re sent into a high-energy build up that drops hard into diced-up vocals that is very reminiscent of early years of electronic trap. “JUMANJI” switches back and forth between these two styles before concluding with a screeching final drop that will undoubtedly start mosh pits wherever it’s played out.

Although we’re sad to see any musical group split (e.g. Flosstradamus), it’s exciting to see LOUDPVCK on a path to what could be their new sound. Enjoy!
