Malaa Shares Impressive 'Who is Malaa #17' Mix

Malaa 17

Mysterious producer Malaa is back with a staggering 17th edition of his ‘Who is Malaa mixes. Between his contagious house signature and anonymous hooded appearance, the unique artist has caught our eye since he burst onto the scene back in 2016, dropping various singles on Tchami’s Confession imprint and even teaming up with the artist for “Prophecy”. His most recent release was a bass-fueled original “Belleville,” and he’s kept the momentum high with this latest mix.

‘Who is Malaa #17’ is dark, captivating and smooth – everything we’ve grown to love about Malaa over the past year or so. The mix is heavy throughout, from the bass-intensive tracks to the more subdued bits. The release alternates between house, techhouse and techno, presenting a noteworthy fusion of styles that keeps things fresh and effortless for the entire half hour mix. Check it out below and enjoy!

Zeds Dead Drop New Mix For ‘DEADBEATS RADIO' Episode 4

zd radio 4

It’s been a little over a year since Zeds Dead launched their Deadbeats record label, and their momentum has continued to grow. As it stands, the duo has been increasingly busy with their own shows and releases, including their recent remix of their own track “Slow Down” and their upcoming collaboration with Illenium. Somehow, they’ve managed to run their Deadbeats label on top of this, with a huge, talent-filled roster consisting of Nebbra, Champagne Drip, Kid Froopy, and more.

As with the previous installments of Deadbeats Radio, “Deadbeats Radio #004” is curated and mixed by Zeds Dead and consists of releases on Deadbeats as well as some of their favorite songs right now. In true Zeds Dead fashion, this session maintains a heavy and energetic vibe overall; however, the “Dead Heat” segment of the mix, in which they play their favorite song of the week, consists of a light hearted stripped-down, electronic-infused country song from Branchez and Big Wet.

“Deadbeats Radio #004” spans dubstep, drum and bass, house, hip-hop, and trap and covers artists such as Mt Eden, Odd Mob, Bar9, Drake, and even Chemical Brothers. Essentially, there’s a little something for everyone here, but it all fits together seamlessly. Check out the full mix and tracklist below and enjoy!
