Kaytranada And Andre 3000 Share Photo In Studio Together

Kaytranada x Andre 3000

It’s looking like there may be an Andre 3000 x Kaytranada collaboration coming! Kaytranada snapchatted a photo of himself alongside Andre, and the Fader reports the two artists were confirmed in the studio together.

With both artists pumping out a spree of collaborations lately, we’re hoping the two teamed up on some new material. Kaytranada just received the Polaris Prize which honors the year’s best album from a Canadian artist for his incredible debut album 99.9%. Kaytra quickly followed up the prestigious award by dropping a 90-minute mix titled 0.001% and has shown fans he’s staying busy with this exciting insight via Snapchat. Gorillaz Instagram

It seems as though a big announcement from Gorillaz may be coming soon! A new Gorillaz Instagram account has been created and followed by a series of pictures tracking their accomplishments over time; from their first magazine cover to their BRIT Awards performance to their 2001 MTV Award for Best Dance Act, among others.

The album was initially planned to arrive in 2016, but was pushed back after Gorillaz collaborator Jaime Hewlett said the album "is special, really f***in special. Can't be rushed. 2017, yo." Additionally, they've revamped their website and seem to be getting ready for something.

There is little known about what we should expect on the forthcoming LP, but a picture of Vic Mensa in the studio with frequent Gorillaz collaborator Remi Kabata has led us to believe there's an appearance in store. In the meantime, give their Instagram account a follow and stay tuned for more info!
