Seven Lions And Kill The Noise Share Massive Melodic Dubstep Collaboration “Cold Hearted” Ahead Of Joint Tour

seven lions ktn

In honor of their joint Horizon Tour that kicks off in just one short day, TSIS favorites Seven Lions and Kill The Noise have gifted listeners with their long-awaited collab “Cold Hearted.” Both of these producers have impressed throughout 2017, from Seven Lions’ experimental Where I Won’t Be Found EP to Kill The Noise’s massive “Killuminati Mixtape” and much more. It’s only fitting that these two have finally come together to create music and bring their iconic sound on the road together.

“Cold Hearted” very well could be one of the biggest collabs of the year. The track leads you in on a deceivingly light note with atmospheric synths and haunting vocal samples before breaking into a drop that brings together the two powerhouse producers’ distinctive signatures effortlessly. Kill The Noise’s gritty bass and heavy kicks take center stage on the first drop, with Seven Lions’ euphoric style running below the surface. This filthy production appears once again towards the end of the release, with a smooth melodic dubstep interlude leading you from one drop to the next.

The Horizon Tour, which will also include Tritonal, kicks off tomorrow in Brooklyn (find tickets here). Stream “Cold Hearted” and check out tour dates below – enjoy!

Snails Announces Debut Album & Shares New Single "Into The Light" + Tour Dates

Snails Into The Light Art

Snails has just hit us with a triple-header of exciting news today. Ahead of his exciting debut album, he's shared the lead single, “Into The Light” featuring Sarah Hudson. He's also shared an awesome teaser trailer for his upcoming debut album, The Shell in addition to announcing his upcoming tour.

The cryptic teaser video features what appears to be skeletal warriors and an undead king donning hooded armor who tells us “Bow down to your king. Recognize the power. Your king is back.” Afterwards a distorted robotic voice pleads, “We need the shell,” before the video flashes the text “The Album Is Coming.” For now, this nightmarish teaser is almost all we have to go on, but fortunately for us, Snails has just released the first single off the project.

"Into The Light" brings vocals from Sarah Hudson, who has written for the likes of Justin Bieber, Katy Perry, and Nicki Minaj. Hudson’s powerful vocals combine with symphonic chords and colorful arpeggios before building up for the impeding vomitstep drop. Snails breaks it down with his signature vocal synth sound and quickly transitions to and from a double-time section with energetic percussion, chopping the vocals in between.

Finally, Snails has also announced The Shell Tour: Enter Slugz City Edition in support of the album. This tour will have all-new stage production deemed “The Shell” with a 150K watt sound system. Snails is bringing a star-studded support lineup with him including 12th Planet, Bro Safari, Downlink b2b Space Laces, SAYMYNAME,  Squnto and Boogie T. The tour begins this winter and will be making stops in Seattle, San Francisco, Dallas, and Atlanta, with more dates at locations around the world to be announced. Tickets will be available here with presale code "shell". Before then, you can catch him with NGHTMRE, JOYRYDE, and more at Red Rocks for Sluggtopia. Enjoy!
