1788-L Showcases Insane Sound Design On Dark, Heavy Debut EP ‘S E N T I E N C E’

Over the past few months, 1788-L has continued to deliver some of the hardest-hitting bass tracks we’ve heard in a while. Although still relatively new to the scene, the enigmatic producer has been leaving us stunned with every release thus far - and today is no exception, as 1788-L has just shared their debut EP S E N T I E N C E.

When 1788-L launched a cryptic AI-powered website alongside the announcement of their debut EP, we really didn’t know what to expect - but after hearing the first tracks, “F U L L / B U R S T” and "N U / V E R / K A" off the EP, we knew we were in for something special. Filled with dark, mechanical sound design, eerie, indistinct vocal chops and absolutely explosive bass, while this may be the debut project from the enigmatic producer, the type of heavy, cohesive production definitely isn’t something that happens overnight. Check out 1788-L’s S E N T I E N C E EP below and enjoy!

Quickly Rising Producer 1788-L Delivers Insane New Experimental Bass Single "N U / V E R / K A"

An enigmatic new artist we’ve been keeping an eye on lately is 1788-L, who burst on the scene as one of the most exciting artists in bass music. The mysterious producer has been branded as an AI robot, and we haven’t even questioned who or what is behind the music because it clearly doesn’t sound like its from a human.

Now we have a new track “N U / V E R / K A” off their forthcoming debut EP via Deadbeats. Simply put, this sound design is INSANE. The industrial synths and distorted bass comes together in a dark, unique way. This new single follows the lead single “F U L L / B U R S T” as 1788-L further increases the hype for their debut project. Stay tuned for the full EP and see tour dates below. Enjoy!

Watch Ekali Drop A Heavy Unreleased Collab With 1788-L

ekali 1788

1788-L has been growing at an insane pace. Having popped up seemingly out of nowhere earlier this year, the enigmatic producer has already joined forces to collab with some absolute heavyweights like REZZ, Illenium and now apparently, Ekali.

With 1788-L having just dropped the first track off their recently announced debut EP, we definitely weren’t expecting another huge collab to surface only days later. Filled with dark, atmospheric soundscapes, skittering breakbeats, shrill, metallic screeches and heavy, distorted bass, although this one’s sounding mostly 1788-L oriented, but Ekali has confirmed that the there’s a lot more of his influence yet to be heard.
