A$AP Rocky Drops His Highly Anticipated Third Studio Album 'Testing'

asap rocky testing - featured

After months and months of teasing fans with an album rollout unlike anything we’ve ever seen before, A$AP Rocky’s newest album, Testing, has finally hit the shelves. Testing is the third studio album from the Harlem rapper, and perhaps his most highly anticipated project to date.

During the rollout of Testing, fans were exposed to a bunch of new material from Rocky. Some of it was fire, some if it was… questionable. Thankfully, none of the those questionable tracks made it onto the album. It looks like Rocky listened to his fans, because the final product is pure heat.

Testing not only features some of A$AP Rocky’s best work, but also has some amazing guest appearances by some of our favorite artists in hip-hop right now. There’s verses from FKA Twigs, Kodak Black, Skepta, Juicy J, Frank Ocean, Kid Cudi, and even more.

Rocky took his time carefully crafting this new album. It’s been almost exactly three years since the drop of his previous album, At.Long.Last.A$AP., and we can definitely hear the effort that was put into this.

Stream the album in its entirety below and enjoy!

A$AP Rocky Seemingly Just Announced His Album 'Testing' Is Dropping This Week

Is A$AP Rocky’s album dropping this week? It sure looks like it. He’s been teasing this project since last fall, and now it seems he’s announced his new album Testing will drop this Friday, May 25 which is almost exactly three years after his last album. He just shared a cryptic image on Instagram with hands reading 5 2 5 with the caption “525,” which is this Friday. His good friend Tyler, The Creator commented saying “does this mean May 25th u cryptic bitch?”

Rocky just did a strange, performance art piece last night called Lab Rat, tweeting a flyer for the event that was also hosted live on his YouTube channel.

The performance art was reminiscent of Frank Ocean building his staircase ahead of his album release and featured Rocky in a glass box doing various tasks with lab workers including answer rapid fire lie detector questions, eating hot peppers, taking an ice bath and more. He just shared the artwork saying “All Done” and we can’t wait. Stay tuned for more info and check out the “Lab Rat” video here. Enjoy!

A$AP Rocky & Bun B Join Killa Kyleon On Next Level Houston Rap Single "Doja Sweet"

ASAP Rocky doja sweet

A$AP Rocky has always had a sound closely tied to Houston rap, but hearing him on an actual Houston rap song is next level. That’s exactly what we have today with Killa Kyleon’s new song “Doja Sweet” featuring none other than A$AP Rocky and the legendary Bun B, making for a dream team.

Killa Kyleon has been killing it in the Houston rap scene for years and does not disappoint on this smooth new single we’re already having on repeat. “Doja Sweet” is highlighted by a sample of UGK on the classic Three 6 Mafia cut “Sippin’ On Some Syrup.” Rocky has a new album on the way and we’d definitely be stoked if he had some songs that sounded like this on it. Enjoy!
