We are excited to share with you today Alexander Lewis’ anticipated new EP, OMNI. The multi-instrumentalist musician, producer and DJ has been building the hype for months, dropping tracks from the EP along the way including “March,” “Off Guard,” “Clockwise,” “Wassup,” and yesterday’s collaboration with Brasstracks, Armani White & Bxrber, “Pearl Magnolia.” Each of these songs continues to garner Alexander Lewis significant attention as he hones his trombone-infused trap sound while expanding into new territories.

Alexander Lewis showcases his versatility and musical prowess on OMNI., incorporating his sound further with elements of jazz, electronic and hip-hop. In addition to those listed above, OMNI. features two completely new tracks: “Back Then” ft. William $ and “Come Up On My Side” with Armani White, who has been on a hot streak lately. MadeinTYO, S’natra, and Nick Row are among the other talented artists to round out this eclectic EP. From start to finish, Alexander Lewis delivers thoughtfully executed, high-energy production, blending genres and bringing in his signature sounds on each track. Listen to OMNI. for yourself below and enjoy!

PREMIERE | Alexander Lewis Teams With Brasstracks, Armani White & Bxrber On Must Hear Soulful Song "Pearl Magnolia"

Today we have a premiere for you we're very excited about. Some of our favorite artists just teamed up for an epic collaboration and we already can't get enough of it. Ahead of Alexander Lewis' full OMNI EP out tomorrow, he's linked up with Brasstracks as well as rising rapper Armani White and talented vocalist Bxrber on his must hear new song "Pearl Magnolia".

"Pearl Magnolia" brings an extra soulful sound throughout. The production is jazzy and funky blending layers of smooth horns and crisp percussion making for a feel-good foundation bringing out the best in each collaborator. We just heard Armani White link up with Sango on an explosive "casablanco freestyle" and now he takes things in a much more soulful route with his slick verses displaying his vocal dexterity skipping and hopping along the beat with ease. Bxrber is coming hot off his collab with Louis Futon on "Fall On Me" and he keeps the momentum going with his incredible vocals soaring effortlessly above the instrumental.

Alexander Lewis has always had a knack for perfectly blending trap with brass, but really shows off his versatility on this new one focusing on his more soulful side we're loving ahead of his hip-hop project. The full project brings a more hip-hop oriented sound from Lewis so be sure to check out the entire release tomorrow and enjoy!

Troyboi’s “Flamez” Receives Hard-Hitting, Horn Filled Trap / Future Bass Flip From Alexander Lewis

When it comes to remixes, Alexander Lewis always brings something fresh to the table. With incredible past collaborative remixes of Sinjin Hawke’s “Onset” Hudson Mohawke’s Song “Chimes” and Lido’s “Murder”, AL’s hard-hitting brass sound continues to set him apart as a producer. Today, one of our favorite brass/bass powerhouses has shared yet another incredible flip, this time of TroyBoi’s album standout, “Flamez”.

For this latest offering, Alexander Lewis has added some extra gas to TroyBoi’s heater of a track. Starting off with the song’s original opening and buildup, AL has effectively reworked the track’s structure, blending in his own signature horn stabs over a heavy bassline some skittering percussion and future bass-inspired synths on the last drop. Having continued to release both incredible originals and remixes throughout the years, at this point, Alexander Lewis has definitely earned the right to toot his own horn. Check out his remix of TroyBoi’s “Flamez” below and enjoy!
