Rising Vocalist Ashe Impresses On Catchy Rock-Influenced Single "Girl Who Cried Wolf"

Ahse Girl Who Cried Wolf

If you ever need a vocal talent to take your song to the next level, Ashe has you covered. A TSIS favorite, this modern-day flower child has appeared on the site for the premiere of her fantastic debut original “Used To It” as well as her vocal contributions to hit tracks with Louis Futon, Louis the Child, Whethan, and Win & Woo.

Now Ashe is back with her powerful single “Girl Who Cried Wolf” a track that showcases her incredible voice while embracing a psychedelic vibe that feels right at home in the contemporary music scene. The song’s hypnotic buildups incorporate impassioned falsettos and overwhelming synths that give way to irresistibly danceable guitar riffs.

This release includes a minimalist music video and in-depth interview with insights into Ashe’s creative process and shift away from country music. You’ll also find some kind words from Freddy of Louis the Child, who describes Ashe as “someone who stays true to herself” and “acknowledges the hard times that people deal with” through her music. This empathy and artistic genuineness shine through in her latest effort.

Ashe will be touring North America this winter with Louis the Child and Lauv, be sure to catch her energetic live performances. Enjoy!

Louis The Child & Rising Vocalist Ashe Link On Island-Inspired "Right To It"

Louis The Child ashe right to it

Louis The Child can’t be slowed down. The young duo continue to make waves with their warm and easygoing latest release “Right To It” bringing on one of our favorite rising vocalists, Ashe

Everything Louis The Child puts out seems to effortlessly capture a feel-good vibe, and this time is no different. The island-flavored tune really shows off LTC’s knack for utilizing unique percussion with what sounds like a combination of shakers, claps steel drums and mallets coming together for this bright, uplifting song that further show amazing of chemistry they have with Ashe, who perfectly matching the instrumental’s vibe. We really hope these collabs keep coming with Ashe, who we had the pleasure of premiering her debut single “Used To It” as well as her “Rewind” collaboration with Louis Futon and has been working on music with Big Gigantic. Enjoy!

Louis Futon Shares Uplifting New Single "Rewind" Featuring Ashe & Rising Rapper Armani White

Louis futon Rewind Cover Art

TSIS regular electronic artist and producer Louis Futon is back with his latest original single "Rewind". The track features buzzing singer Ashe who we've seen collaborating with Louis Futon for months on socials. It also features another artist we've seen Louis collaborate with, rapper Armani White who's also from his hometown of Phillidelphia.

2017 has been an exciting year for Louis Futon with non-stop releases like his remix of THEY.’s “U-RITE” or his single “Surreal” from earlier in the year. He also started posting videos of himself flipping tracks that we've been loving taking on tracks from artists like Chance The Rapper, Frank Ocean and Kendrick Lamar

The track is uplifting, jumping right into Ashe’s distinguished voice, bright chords and a tasteful horn accent. The chorus is incredibly catchy with bouncy percussion and soulful instrumentalism. The hook features Armani White, who reminds us of Chance The Rapper in the best way possible, and absolutely kills his verse. “Rewind” is an exhibit of Louis Futons comprehensive production capabilities as he combines many unique elements to create something amazing… Enjoy!
