[PREMIERE] Indie Electronic Artist Autumn In June Receives Chilled Out Remix of “No Better” From Cabu [Free Download]

Autumn In June Cabu

Rising artist Autumn In June has become a favorite of ours for his unique genre-blending indie electronic sound that he put on full display on his debut studio album, Magenta, earlier this year. Today we have the pleasure of premiering Australian producer Cabu’s downtempo remix of Autumn’s album track “No Better” and it's sounding incredibly smooth.

We preciously featured Cabu on the site for his chill remixes of BAYNK & Shallou’s “Come Home” as well as collaboration with Acacia on “Weakness” as he keeps the impressive remixes coming. The original track by Autumn In June places an emphasis on his unique voice while utilizing eerie, minimal production as the first half of the song is without drums. Cabu has placed his mellow touch on the track, reworking the production from the ground up. He introduces soft strings, lush soundscapes, slow rolling percussion and bright keys giving the track a more uplifting vibe than the original while putting Autumn’s vocals on full display. Enjoy!

Rising Artist Autumn In June Drops Debut Album 'Magenta' : Indie Electronic

Rising artist Autumn In June has become a favorite of ours lately with his incredible string of singles leading up his debut album. We’ve been looking forward to his 12-track album Magenta which is now here! Autumn has been releasing tracks off this project for the past year and half so we're really stoked the full release is here.

Autumn has been making waves with his bright indie electronic sound combining the hip-hop roots of his South Central upbringing with uplifting synth pop and R&B making for a unique genre-blending sound that’s immediately recognizable. We couldn’t be more excited for this release following his incredible singles “I Guess It’s Cool To Be Lonely”, “Jupiter Six”, “Cocaine Eighties”,  and “Take Flight”.

Autumn In June’s unique voice brings a dreamy quality to his infectious songs that will surely be stuck in your head for hours. He pairs the vocals with radiant, shimmering production that carries a strong 80s vibe throughout the project as he combines his instrumentation with fluorescent electronic production and a touch of funky synthesizers. His DIY approach to music is heard in the album and is showcased even further by the fact he recorded the project in his self-built studio in the backyard of his South Central LA home. His 12-track album is a incredible introduction to the talented singer, multi-instrumentalist and producer for those of you who aren’t familiar. We’ll certainly have this on repeat, so kick back and enjoy!

Autumn In June Blurs Electronic & R&B With New Album Single "Jupiter Six"

Autumn In June Jupiter

Autumn In June has established himself as an exciting rising artist to keep an eye on with his unbelievably catchy sound we can’t get enough of and is back at it with another impressive release. The singer / producer recently announced his debut album MAGENTA and keeps the new music coming with his latest indie R&B single “Jupiter Six”.

The album is coming up quick with a June 13 release date as the rising artist follows up his previously released, infectious singles “Take Flight," “I Guess It’s Cool To Be Lonely” and “Starlight”. Autumn switches things up with this latest and takes a more hazey R&B focused approach than the previous, more poppy singles. He takes a slightly different approach while maintaining his signature sound. "Jupiter Six" combines mellow keyboard melodies with moody, bass-heavy synths adding an electronic edge as the punching percussion comes in for short segments. The vocal-highlighted track continues to show off Autumn’s versatility ahead of the full-length project. Enjoy!
