Jauz Shares Anticipated New Single "The Game"

jauz

Remember that pluck from Martin Garrix's single "Animals"? Who doesn't. Well Jauz has just taken that same pluck synth and placed it into an incredibly groovy bass track called "The Game". The pluck sequence is paired with military-inspired percussion and dark undertones that keep the groove low to the ground.

By the two-minute mark, Jauz adds some electro flair with some hollow knocks and blips. "The Game" has a video game feel to it and after the second drop, listeners hear some nostalgic 8-bit sounds. This has been one of Jauz's favorite tracks to play out live and we're so glad to see it surface in full. Check out "The Game" below and also be sure to tune into his previous single, "Claim To Be". Enjoy!

He leads everything off with the VIP mix of his "Wat The Frick" and follows a string of heavy hitters like Excision and Space Laces' "Throwin Elbows" and Skrillex's remix of "Red Lips" by GTA.

Whether you're looking for some heavy trap, dubstep or some straight hip-hop from guys like A$AP Ferg or Kevin Gates, Getter covers it all in his Shambhala set. You can stream the whole 90-minute performance below. Enjoy!

[PREMIERE] Illenium's Single "Afterlife" Feat. Echos Gets A Heavy Remix From Dabin

Illenium Dabin

Illenium's emotional and melodic single, "Afterlife" feat. Echos, has received the remix treatment from Toronto-based producer Dabin. The original track is part of Illenium's 12-track debut album Ashes and has sort of become an all-encompassing representation of his sound with its emotional core and explosive, melodic dubstep sound.

Dabin beautifully rearranges the production to take on two heavily contrasting styles. The first half of the song embraces a chillstep style with feathery drum kicks to create more of a beat atop the orchestral melody. The drop maintains its essential elements, but gets layered with an angelic counter melody made up of Echos' lovely vocals.

Things take an interesting and compelling turn in the second half of the record as the sound design shifts towards a darker set of elements before fully unleashing a powerful, dubstep drop. Dabin then bridges the entire song together with a third drop that seamlessly weaves Echos' vocals in and out of lush future bass synths. Taking on an Illenium song is no easy task but Dabin certainly steps up to the plate here with his bold rework of "Afterlife". Stream it below and enjoy!
