Listen To ZHU & Baauer's Must-Hear Remixes For Gorillaz

zhu bauuer gorillaz

Gorillaz news just keeps on coming! Following the announcement of their North American Humanz tour and their first ever on-camera interview, the group has dropped a handful of remixes of cuts off their upcoming Humanz album due next Friday (Apr. 28).

From the latest batch we receive ZHU's much anticipated remix of "Andromeda", which he premiered at Ultra, and Bauuer's rework of "Saturn Barz". ZHU's takes a dark and moody approach to "Andromeda" and layers the original track with a house bassline, cinematic orchestral strings and his smooth falsetto vocals.

Baauer gives his unique spin of "Saturnz Bars" feat. Popcaan by adding a heavy bass backbone to the reggae-inspired tune. Gorillaz continue to surprise us as they execute one of the craziest album rollout plans we've ever seen. You can listen to both remixes below. Stay tuned for the highly anticipated Humanz LP! Enjoy!

NGHTMRE & Ghastly Drop Bass Heavy Collaboration "End Of The Night"

nghtmre / ghastly

NGHTMRE and Ghastly have teamed up for a filthy track called "End Of The Night" that has been teased out live for quite a while but now comes out on Mad Decent. It's fueled with relentless energy that will keep your blood pumping throughout.

The song's fast-paced bass drop packs a lethal combo, mixing metallic stabbing synths with growling samples and high-pitched screeches. Both NGHTMRE and Ghastly are off to a strong start this year. NGHTMRE recently dropped his remix of DJ Snake's "Here Comes The Night", as well as Travis Scott's "Goosebumps". A couple months ago, Ghastly shared his heavy single "The Spiders Symphony" which simply goes off live.

Listen to NGHTMRE & Ghastly's new collaboration "End Of The Night" below and let us know what you think. Enjoy!

Bassnectar Shares Bass-Fueled Remix Of Noisia's "Get Deaded"

bassnectar live

The music just keeps on coming from Bassnectar. A few weeks ago, he released his "Interlock" collaboration with ATLiens on OWSLA and now shares his remix of "Get Deaded" by drum and bass trio Noisia.

Bassnectar turns up the intensity on this bass-fueled rework and plays around with the drum patterns. The remix will be part of Noisia's 20-track remix compilation for their Outer Edges album. While the track does have an acquired taste to it, we definitely suggest giving it a listen as it's pretty different than what Bassnectar usually releases. Listen to his take on "Get Deaded" below and enjoy!
