Rising Vocalist Billie Eilish Shares Impressive New EP 'dont smile at me'

Billie Eilish

15-year-old Billie Eilish is one of the most promising young vocalists right now, and for good reason. The talented artist has an incredible, unique voice she once again puts on display with her debut 8-track EP 'dont smile at me'.

Her impressive voice is equally matched by her choice of cutting-edge production giving her music a forward-thinking edge as she has a knack for making incredibly catchy pop tracks with mostly dark electronic production. Her debut track “Ocean Eyes” has racked up a ton of plays and she’s been on a roll ever since. This new project follows the project's impressive previous singles and is a great listen from start to finish. Keep an eye on this rising talent and enjoy!

Marian Hill Drops Captivating Remix Of Rising Singer Billie Eilish’s “Bellyache”

Billie Eilish Marian Hill

At just 15 years old, Los-Angeles based singer/songwriter Billie Eilish has been putting out stunning records for years now. The artist’s rich, smooth signature tone exudes a confidence beyond her years, resulting in captivating tracks that never fail to impress. Last fall Eilish’s single “Six Feet Under” was picked up by Jerry Folk, resulting in a breezy remix tied together perfectly with Eilish’s gripping vocals. Since then Eilish has kept up her momentum, releasing multiple tracks that showcase her talent.

Another one of these impressive songs, “Bellyache,” gets a unique spin in a remix released today by none other than Marian Hill. The singer/producer duo are no strangers to TSIS, creating spellbinding originals like “Down” and putting out genre-blending remixes of tracks like Alina Baraz & Khalid’s “Electric

Jeremy serves as the production side of Marian Hill, and his remix of “Bellyache” is yet another testament to his skill. The track adds a funky, bass-fueled spin onto the record while still allowing Eilish’s effortless vocals to shine. A creeping sort of synth runs below the major elements of the song, building nearly in sync with the build of Eilish’s vocals. A synth-heavy bridge leads into a drop that incorporates a distorted vocal lead and eccentric bassline, giving it an innovative spin that fits well with the rest of the track. Altogether, the remix adds a refreshing twist onto an already fantastic track. Listen to Marian Hill’s remix of “Bellyache” below and enjoy!

Jerry Folk Delivers Dreamy Rework Of Billie Eilish's Single "Six Feet Under"

Jerry Folk Billie Ellish Artwork

After taking a break from remixes for about a year, TSIS regular Jerry Folk is back with a dreamy rework of Billie Eilish's single "Six Feet Under". The Oslo native does a brilliant job at catering the production to the original's silky vocals and amplifying them to instill new emotions.

The first 30 seconds of the song is solely Eilish's vocal harmonies, immediately grabbing the listener's attention. Folk gradually layers minimalistic, melodic elements over the topline that create a warm and delicate atmosphere. Throughout the track, Folk also subtly distorts Eilish's voice that'll keep you on the edge of your seat. Be sure to check out his previous works like "Life Under Water", "The Kids Tape" and "I'm Honestly Not A Gangster" to fully immerse yourself in his exceptional talent. Enjoy!
