DROELOE Takes Over 18th Episode Of bitbird Radio For Impressive Hourlong Mix

droeloe

Over the past few years, San Holo’s bitbird label has become home to some incredible producers. Constantly pushing unique, forward-thinking from Autolaser, Taska Black, Duskus and more, we we’re very excited last November when San introduced bitbird radio as a bi-weekly mix for all things bitbird and beyond. Today we’ve reached the 18th installment of the mix series, featuring a special guest takeover by none-other than DROELOE.

With this latest mix we’ve not learned that San is currently in the final stages of mastering his album, but also that bitbird, and specifically DROELOE have some fresh new music on the way. Starting off with an incredible unreleased song by Analogue Dear and Yvette Young, mix #18 features some fantastic recent releases including “Feel The Love”off of Kid Cudi & Kanye’s Kids See Ghosts, Hex Cougar’s remix of KRANE’s “Chemical” and many more. Also included on the mix (at 42:55) is a preview of an unreleased DROELOE track titled “Looking Back”, which will apparently be the the first track on their upcoming The Choices We Face EP. Check out bitbird Radio #018 below and see here for the complete tracklist. Enjoy!

PREMIERE | bitbird Signee Duskus Shines On Uplifting Electronic Single "Find You" Off EP

duskus

Today we have the pleasure of introducing U.K. based producer and bitbird signee Duskus to the site for his new single “Find You”. Duskus has established himself as an extremely talented producer with a penchant for shimmering synths and warm, powerful basslines that caught the attention of bitbird boss San Holo nearly three years ago on SoundCloud. Since becoming bitbird’s first signed artist, Duskus has delivered stunning singles on the label such as “Know Why” and “On My Own” that showcase his immaculate production and distinct style.

“Find You” is an uplifting, energetic track that radiates positivity. The buildup is subtle and calming, hooking listeners with soft melodies under which vocal chops slowly gain the spotlight while a gentle lead synth guides us into the drop. As the song comes together a crisp kick-snare combo grabs the listeners’ attention and anchors the track in a bouncing tempo that makes it difficult not to start dancing. Duskus had some words to share on this track as well:

I wanted to give people music that represented me, and my changes… “Find You” is about truly being open enough to find yourself and not being scared of your close network - Duskus

“Find You” comes ahead of a debut EP from Duskus called cute out April 27. Check out the track below and keep your eyes peeled for the EP!

San Holo Shares Euphoric New Single “I Still See Your Face”

San Holo I Still See Your Face

Today, San Holo has dropped an incredible new track just in time for the end of summer. Following up on his previous emotionally-charged singles “Light” and “The Future” Ft. James Vincent McMorrow, San has yet again impressed us with his to channel immense passion into his songs, with his new single, “I Still See Your Face”.

If you’ve been to a San Holo show in the past few months, chances are you’ve heard this latest offering. San keeps things relatively simple on his new track, starting off slowly with a soft guitar riff before his own gentle, pitched vocals float in. Filled with melancholic, warbling plucks, gentle slow-rolling synths and some non-traditional percussion, San perfectly blends vibrant soundscapes and unique lo-fi production elements throughout “I Still See Your Face”.

With bitbird’s Gouldian Finch 02 on the way and a massive San holo tour set to begin in October, this single couldn’t have come at a better time. Check out “I Still See Your Face” below and enjoy!
