Jauz Unleashes Epic New 23-Track Debut Album ‘The Wise and The Wicked’

jauz the wise and wicked

From dubstep to bass-house to techno, Jauz has evolved into an absolute force to be reckoned with over the past few years. Having come such a far way from his 2014 banger “Feel The Volume”, today the LA-based producer has finally delivered his debut album The Wise and The Wicked.

When we caught wind that Jauz would be dropping an album this year, we knew it would be amazing, but definitely couldn’t have prepared for the magnitude of this beast of an offering. Although previously released collabs with DJ Snake, Snails, Kiiara, Ducky & others are present on the LP, Jauz has organized the project into an incredibly cohesive, five-chapter dystopian narrative packed with influence from all over the electronic music spectrum. Don’t get too comfortable with Jauz’s crisp, familiar sound design, as with the start of each new chapter and with new features from Krewella, Adventure Club, Tisoki & more, listeners can expect to be taken on a expansive sonic journey throughout the albums whopping 23-tracks. Check out The Wise and The Wicked below and enjoy!

Between releases and packing out mainstages, Jauz has been having an incredible summer so far. And as he’s just announced his debut album will be here at the end of the month, today he’s upped the hype by sharing four unreleased tracks off the project on his latest Bite This! Radio episode.

Although we’ve been lucky enough to hear some incredible collabs with DJ Snake, Snails, Kiiara and more over the past few months, these latest unreleased tracks are getting us incredibly excited for Jauz’s debut album. As the LA-based producer has already stated that the album will feature 17 tracks in total, these four latest offerings don't even equate to a quarter of what we can expect come August 31. Check out the new tracks below (names courtesy of reddit user sandwichesareevil) around the 44-45 minute mark of the mix and enjoy!

PREMIERE | Jauz Shares Brand New Diverse 11-Track Bass Music Compilation "First Bites" Via His Bite This! Imprint

jauz bite this first bites

Thanks to streaming platforms like Spotify and SoundCloud, artist run labels have been sprouting up everywhere as of recently. That’s why we weren’t surprised when one of the bigger names in electronic music, Jauz, announced the launch of his new label, Bite This!, back in November. We’ve been a fan of Jauz’s for a minute, so we were stoked to see what kind of releases and compilations he would be curating on this new platform. His Bite This! imprint already crushed it with a 12-track compilation “Off The Deep End Vol. 1” a few months ago, and now Jauz is back to present another collection of heavy bass tunes titled “First Bites”, premiering right here on TSIS.

“First Bites” is not only fire from front to back, but also showcases a wide variety of genres and artists that span the huge spectrum that is bass music. This compilation features some of our favorite rising producers like Dillon Nathaniel, Ducky, Holy Goof, and plenty more. With this broad selection of music, Jauz is establishing Bite This! to be one of the more versatile imprints out there.

Whether you’re looking for bass-house, dubstep, trap, or riddim, this new “First Bites” compilation well surely give you that bass fix you’ve been craving. Enjoy!
