Bob Moses Deliver Impressive New Indie Electronic Album 'Battle Lines'

bob moses

Hailing from Vancouver, Bob Moses is a progressive duo that is continually expanding the confines of electronic music. Composed of Tom Howie and Jimmy Vallance, the two have developed a strong following with their laidback fusion of rock and dance, incorporating atmospheric keys, guitar and vocals alongside dancefloor drums.

On Friday, they released their second studio album Battle Lines featuring singles “Back Down”, “Heaven Only Knows” and “Enough to Believe”, alongside eight new tracks. The album demonstrates Bob Moses’ enchanting sound, which has earned them a GRAMMY nomination in the past for Best Dance Recording. In my opinion, “Battle Lines” is Bob Moses’ best offering to date as each song is uniquely engaging… a must listen. Enjoy!

Bob Moses Releases Calm New Indie Electronic Single “Enough To Believe” Off Upcoming Album

If you’re looking for some laid back, alluring dance music, you need to check out Bob Moses’s new single, “Enough To Believe”. Last month the Canadian indie electronic duo dropped off their single “Back Down,” and announced their sophomore studio album, Battle Lines. It’s set to drop in just two weeks, and we just got another sneak preview of what to expect.

“Enough To Believe,” like most of Bob Moses’s music, features a calm, four-to-the-floor rhythm that’s accompanied by dreamy vocals and seductive, downtempo melodies. It’s nearly impossible to not make the comparison to RUFUS when listening, but if you’re a fan of the Aussie trio, you’ll definitely get a kick out of this new Bob Moses track.

This is the third single released from the duo’s Battle Lines project, and we’re digging what we’ve heard so far. Stay tuned for the full drop on September 14th.

Bob Moses - Tearing Me Up (A-Trak Remix): Funky House Remix

A-Trak w/ White Background

TSIS regular A-Trak has been on a remix tear as of late, most recently flipping Bingo Players' "Cry (Just A Little)" and LÉON's "Tired of talking". The Fools Gold chief now lays his production prowess on "Tearing Me Up" by Bob Moses.

[PREMIERE] A-Trak & Phantoms Breathe New Life Into Bingo Players' Classic "Cry (Just A Little)"

The deep cut receives an healthy jolt of funk, urban percussion and retro instrumentation that will groove you back to the '70s. By amplifying the bass melody in the drop, the Daft Punk-inspired synth gets a modern makeover that leans towards future house territory. Stream A-Trak's take on "Tearing Me Up" below.
