Boombox Cartel Unleash Heavy Hybrid Trap Single “NBD”

boombox cartel

Boombox Cartel have been the tip of the spear that has led the genre of hard, gritty, trap over the past year. They’ve been riding a wave of consistently hard bangers, and based on their latest release, it doesn’t seem like they have any plans on backing down down. The Mexican duo just recently dropped off a brand new single, “NBD,” and it’s a heavy one.

If you’ve seen a Boombox Cartel show recently, then you’ll recognize this new track as one of the highlights of their sets. “NBD” has a huge, distorted intro (reminiscent of their 2017 tune “Jefe”) that leads into an explosive trap and dubstep hybrid drop that will knock you right on your ass. With access to this new tune and a solid sound system, you could shake the walls of your home with ease.

Check out the tune below and get ready to start head banging. Enjoy!

Boombox Cartel Unleash Must Hear Heavy Trap/Hip-Hop Hybrid “Moon Love” Ft. Rising Rapper Nessly

Boombox Nessly

It’s no secret that Boombox Cartel set last years festival season ablaze with the spring release of their Cartel EP. Having dropped singles “Alamo” and “Jefe” in March of 2017, today history seems to be repeating itself with the release of BC’s brand new single “Moon Love” (feat. Nessly).

Apart from their "Dia De Los Muertos Mix II" and their very recently released collab with Nevve, Boombox Cartel has been relatively quiet over the past year, but we may have just witnessed the beginning of a release pattern with this latest drop. Starting off slow with a wonky plucked melody and some snappy verses from rising rapper Nessly, it doesn’t take long for the track to transition from a bass fueled hip-hop trunk-shaker, to an explosive, festival-caliber trap banger. Check out “Moon Love” below and keep an eye out for more Boombox Cartel music possibly dropping in the near future. Enjoy!

Boombox Cartel Celebrate Day Of The Dead With Heavy Hitting "Dia De Los Muertos Mix II"

Boombox Cartel Dia De Los Muertos

Today we are celebrating the famed Mexican holiday, Dia de los Muertos, with a huge mix from Boombox Cartel. The duo has been unstoppable this year with their recent album, Cartel, containing singles such as “Alamo” and “Jefe,” and the remix album that followed. Today they’ve delivered one of their heaviest mixes to date with “Dia de los Muertos Mix II.

Boombox Cartel’s Day of the Dead mix is chock-full of high-energy bass music, including a variety of their own tunes as well as those from need-to-know acts in the game. From the get-go, we can hear their recent remix of Hudson Mohawke’s “Cbat,” and Candyland’s heavy trap flip of their tune “Phoenix.” Other heavy-hitters from Rickyxsan, Virtual Riot, Getter, and more fill the spaces in between.

In honor of this Mexican holiday, Boombox Cartel made sure to throw in some Latin hits such as Climax’s song “Za Za Za” and Don Omar and Lucenzo’s “Danza Kuduro.” With such an eclectic selection of tracks, the duo has shown that the best way to celebrate Dia de los Muertos is with this mix from Boombox Cartel.
