[PREMIERE] Indie Electronic Artist Autumn In June Receives Chilled Out Remix of “No Better” From Cabu [Free Download]

Autumn In June Cabu

Rising artist Autumn In June has become a favorite of ours for his unique genre-blending indie electronic sound that he put on full display on his debut studio album, Magenta, earlier this year. Today we have the pleasure of premiering Australian producer Cabu’s downtempo remix of Autumn’s album track “No Better” and it's sounding incredibly smooth.

We preciously featured Cabu on the site for his chill remixes of BAYNK & Shallou’s “Come Home” as well as collaboration with Acacia on “Weakness” as he keeps the impressive remixes coming. The original track by Autumn In June places an emphasis on his unique voice while utilizing eerie, minimal production as the first half of the song is without drums. Cabu has placed his mellow touch on the track, reworking the production from the ground up. He introduces soft strings, lush soundscapes, slow rolling percussion and bright keys giving the track a more uplifting vibe than the original while putting Autumn’s vocals on full display. Enjoy!

Cabu Delivers Laidback Remix Of BAYNK And Shallou's Collaborative Single "Come Home"

Cabu Baynk Shallou Come Home

Australian producer Cabu has delivered an excellently chill remix of BAYNK and Shallou’s collaborative single “Come Home”. BAYNK is a producer from New Zealand who is growing in popularity with unique releases such as “What You Need” and Shallou is a Chicago producer who has appeared on TSIS a few times with his fdebut EP All Becomes Okay earlier this year. Cabu was last featured on TSIS in May with his own collaborative track with Akacia “Weakness”. He has a super laidback sound that is heard with his latest remix of “Come Home”.

The track starts with powerful piano and the emotional original vocals. It then begins to pick up with shaking percussion and eventually drops into a head-bobbing track with accenting vocal samples. Cabu delivers another chilled masterpiece with his “Come Home” remix… Enjoy!

[PREMIERE] Akacia And Cabu Team Up On Refreshing New Single “Weakness”

Akacia Cabu Weakness Artwork

Today, we’re excited to share another impressive collaboration between up-and-coming singer Akacia and electronic/hip-hop producer Cabu. The Aussie duo started turning heads just over a year ago with their future bass collaboration, “Gold” and now they’ve returned with an equally incredible song titled, “Weakness”.

Akacia’s dreamy vocals and Cabu’s rhythmic production mix together seamlessly on this latest offering. The track starts out quiet with Akacia’s voice gently floating over an energetic drum break and a warm percussive melody. The song quickly transitions into a chill, trap-inspired drop filled with steady bass and a soft keyboard progression. “Weakness” comes as the lead single from Akacia’s forthcoming EP, due to drop soon on Onelove Music Group.

“For me, this EP is purely a result of the amazing people I’ve met and worked with over the past year. At its heart I’ve learnt that sometimes art is a joint venture and the real prize is the people you meet.” - Akacia
