Watch Donald Glover & Reggie Watts' Amazing Freestyle Performance On 'The Late Late Show'

Donald Glover Late Late Show Reggie Watts

Over the past couple weeks Donald Glover has been in the public eye as much as ever, and kept this up by making a special appearance on The Late Late Show with James Corden. This follows up the launch of Donald’s exciting FX series ‘Atlanta’ as well as his live album that was debuted via multiple camping shows titled 'PHAROS' with a full experience.

On the Late Late Show, the musically inclined comedian Reggie Watts asked Donald “have you ever considered jamming any kind of a musical type of thing right now?” This seemed to catch Donald off guard as he hesitated before agreeing to the proposition, but he quickly warmed up to the idea and didn’t hold back once they started jamming.

Reggie laid down a beatbox while Donald began singing a groovy melody that really came together quite well and sounded great while he had fun with the jam and got everyone dancing. At one point Donald asked Reggie to give him a solo, to which he delivered a hilarious acapella guitar solo with his voice. Maybe this is the beginning of a new Childish Gambino song? Not only is the song incredibly catchy, but the video had us laughing from start to finish. Watch below and enjoy!

Donald Glover Atlanta Episode One

Donald Glover’s exciting series, Atlanta, is here! Thanks to FX, the show is available to stream in its entirety on Youtube below.

The dual threat entertainer is both an award winning actor/writer and Grammy-nominated hip-hop artist, so we couldn’t ask for a better fit on a show based on rappers in Atlanta. The comedy series follows Glover (Earnest aka Earn Marks) who works as his cousin's manager for his rap career as Paper Boi.

His Childish Gambino rap alias gives him the perfect insight for the cinematically-shot series that establishes a certain aesthetic we’ve seen in his multiple teasers and trailer for the show. In addition, Childish Gambino just debuted a new album this past weekend (Sept. 2-4) during a bizarre camping event titled "PHAROS", which you can get an inside look here. Check out the first episode below. Enjoy!

Take A Look At Childish Gambino's 'PHAROS' Shows From Joshua Tree

Childish Gambino Pharos

Everything about Donald Glover’s new Childish Gambino album has been mysterious. First, he launched a app with a countdown to an unexplained event that later revealed he'd be hosting three camping shows called "PHAROS" at Joshua Tree from Sept. 2-4. He also shared that each show would be a full experience to debut the Childish Gambino LP.

The first performance kicked off last night (Sept. 2) and looked bizarre, to say the least. Little was known about what it would entail. Fans were instructed to store their phone in a special bag that locks so no videos or photos would be taken. Although we weren't able to make it, there were a handful of audience members who managed to sneak in their phones to provide updates on the show.

The concert took place in a dome that seemed to incorporate video projections. This is what fans saw inside the dome:

Everything about the show looks strange. His music was said to be island/tribal-influenced and different from previous Childish Gambino music. Watch the videos below:

In addition to playing new music, he invited fans to watch the first episode of his highly anticipated new show on FX, Atlanta.

The event received mixed reactions from the crowd and was certainly one of the more interesting album rollouts we’ve seen.
