Danny Brown Releases Amazing New Single "Kool Aid"

Danny Brown Kool Aid

Danny Brown has just released a new single, "Kool Aid," that will be featured on HBO's Silicon Valley soundtrack. The song sees a return to his hip-hop roots after 2016's wild, experimental album Atrocity Exhibition and subsequent bonus tracks.

The Detroit rapper continues to show why he is one of the most clever lyricists in the game today, and the hard-hitting bass of the beat only accentuates this skill. The grime-influenced hip-hop beat would fit right in with his older releases, and the combination of the steel drums with his verses make for an instantly re-playable song. His voice is unlike anyone else putting out music right now, and he uses this to create immediately recognizable and unique tracks. The song will be premiering on this Sunday's episode of Silicon Valley on HBO and will be released on the show's soundtrack, out on June 23rd through Nas' Mass Appeal Records. Enjoy!

Danny Brown’s full length Atrocity Exhibition album is available to stream a few days ahead of its planned release! The early arrival is a pleasant surprise as the 15-track LP popped up on both Spotify and Apple Music. Brown tweeted, "PUSHED THE ALBUM UP BRUH BRUH, COULDN'T WAIT ANY LONGER," and dropped it.

While light on features, the most notable collaboration off Atrocity Exhibition is "Really Doe" with Kendrick Lamar, Earl Sweatshirt and Ab-Soul. Brown says the project draws from a wide array of influences including Quentin Tarantino, Curb Your Enthusiasm, Bjork, System of a Down and others. With such a eclectic list of inspiration, the album is surely an interesting listen. Enjoy!

Danny Brown Shares "Really Doe" Ft. Kendrick Lamar, Earl Sweatshirt, & Ab-Soul : Massive Hip-Hop Collaboration

Danny Brown Kendrick Lamar Earl Sweatshirt Really Doe

With the arrival of Danny Brown’s Atrocity Exhibition album less than two weeks out, the rapper has shared the most anticipated collaboration off the project. "Really Doe" hosts a strong lineup of features that includes Kendrick Lamar, Earl Sweatshirt and Ab-Soul.

The stacked single follows "Pneumonia" and "When It Rain", and goes hard from start to finish as the four rappers give it 110%. It's driven by an eerie, pulsating beat that each rapper trades menacing verses over while Kendrick holds down the chorus duties. Stay tuned for Atrocity Exhibition dropping Sept. 30 on Warp Records. Enjoy!
