Watch Dillon Francis & Diplo's Epic B2B HARD Summer Performance

Although this years HARD Summer felt a bit odd with a noticeable absence of long time coordinator Gary Richards (Destructo), it seems the fest’s 11 year installment went off without a hitch over this past weekend. But among the two days of incredible performances one definitely stood out - Diplo B2B Dillon Francis.

With a fully NASCAR-themed set, the two heavyweights threw down an incredible performance for over an hour, paired with some hilarious concept logos for the DF x Diplo supergroup. Featuring some absolute bangers including “Ven” and “Look At That Butt” off Dillon’s forthcoming album, Diplo’s iconic “Express Yourself”, Skrillex’s unreleased track “Crown Vic” and yes...even Darude’s “Sandstorm” - the set culminated in a celebratory checkered-flag-clad champagne pop. Check out the full set from it’s live stream below and enjoy!

Dillon Francis Trolls DJ Snake With Fake Website & Drops New Track “Look At That Butt”

Dillon francis

We were all taken by surprise yesterday (June 19) when a cryptic message and countdown appeared on djsnake.com. Having launched his new label Premiere Classe back in March and announced his new album was on the way only last month, this supposedly “special announcement” from the Parisian DJ had the potential to be something huge. And now that the countdown has finished...we’ve all been trolled yet again by Dillon Francis.

It seems that this latest prank from the LA-based artist was an elaborate ruse to promote the release of his brand new track “Look At That Butt” (ft. Jarina De Marco). As Francis explains it, while “Look At That Butt” comes as part of the streak of releases leading up to his forthcoming album, this latest website scheme has apparently been three years in the making after DJ Snake flashed Francis’ phone number to a crowd of thousands at Ultra Music Festival in 2015. Although some DJ Snake fans might feel let down by the fake announcement, we did get a new, heavy moombahton banger out of it that’s sure to creep its way onto mainstages everywhere. Check out “Look At That Butt” (ft. Jarina De Marco) as well as Dillon Francis’ explanation of how the prank came to fruition below and enjoy!

Dillon Francis Shares New Heavy Moombahton Single “BaBaBa (Vete Pa Ya)” Ft. Young Ash

Dillon Francis

If there’s one thing we’ve learned about Dillon Francis recently, it’s that he doesn’t make empty promises. Having teased his forthcoming album back in December, assuring fans that 2018 would be wild, considering he’s dropped three new singles and remix of J Balvin's "Machika" since January, the man has definitely delivered. Yet today, he’s only continued upon his streak with a brand new single “BaBaBa (Vete Pa'Ya)” Ft. Young Ash.

Following up the Latin-inspired production we’ve already been hearing on previous singles “Ven”, “We The Funk” and “Sexo”, this latest offering only continues upon Dillon’s impressive multicultural-mashup of genres. Featuring wonky plucked melodies, heavy, booming bass and skittering vocals from Bronx-hailing rapper Young Ash, we couldn’t have asked for a better moombahton banger to start our summer off right. Check out “BaBaBa (Vete Pa Ya)” below and enjoy!
