Today we have an awesome collaboration from the likes of Dion Timmer and Modestep that we're pleased to be premiering. The collaboration is titled “Going Nowhere” and is a hard-hitting dubstep tune released via Monstercat.

Timmer last landed on the site for his chill original track “Cyan” and takes a more aggressive direction on this one, making for the perfect pairing alongside Modestep. The song starts off with a metal inspired build with vocals repeating “Going Nowhere” until the snarling Dubstep drop takes over with high energy and impressive sound design that will surely get your day started on a high note. Enjoy!

Dion Timmer Drops Refreshingly Chill Single “Cyan” Feat. The Arcturians [Free Download]

It’s been roughly a year and a half since rising dubstep producer Dion Timmer first caught our attention, teaming up with Excision for their vigorous trap collaboration “Final Boss.” The Netherlands-based artist has kept busy since, dropping simultaneously vibrant and heavy-hitting releases with Rottun Records, Firepower Records and more. Dion Timmer is back this week with an unbelievably unique release titled “Cyan” feat. The Arcturians.

“Cyan” is sounding great, utilizing a refreshing signature that’s different from most bass music out there right now. Timmer leads you in slow with a hollowed out vocal sample and subtle percussion, gradually gaining momentum as the track moves along. The drop is nearly indescribable, tying in wonderfully wobbly stabs of bass layered in with a brisk beat, airy vocals and atmospheric synth melodies. Check out the fresh single below and enjoy!

Dillon Francis Shares Heavy Moombahton Remix Of Excision & Dion Timmer’s "Final Boss"

Dillon Francis Excision

It’s been almost a year since Excision dropped his third studio album, Virus. In the months since it’s release, the dubstep heavyweight has been steadily teasing a Virus remix album, revealing very little about the project in general. But yesterday the remixes finally started rolling out, first with Getter & Virtual Riot’s remix of Excision & Space Laces' "Throwin' Elbows”, and today with Dillon Francis heavy moombahton makeover of Excision & Dion Timmer’s "Final Boss".

Dillon Francis slows things down and pumps up the bass on this latest offering. Starting off slowly with some alluring soundscapes and a heavy kick, Dillon dials in some vocal chops from the original before throwing the track into a powerful drop filled with energetic percussion, abrasive growls and some pulsing bass. Check out Dillon Francis’ remix of “Final Boss” below and keep an eye out for the full remix album dropping September 12. Enjoy!
