Diplo Drops Catchy Collab With Rising Rapper XXXTENTACION "looking for a star (CANT GET YOU OUT MY HEAD)"

Diplo XXX

Rising Florida rapper XXXTENTACION has teamed up with Diplo to release the new single "Looking for a Star," and the unexpected collaboration shows a completely new side of the 19 year-old MC.

XXXTENTACION rose to fame with his wild single "Look at Me," which has now racked up over 100 million views on streaming services. For his latest song, he taps Diplo to provide a minimal, tropical beat that brings the melodic vocals to the forefront and does away with XXX's signature distorted yelling. Instead of rapping, he opts for singing radio-friendly lyrics that could be mistaken for one of the collaborations on Jack U's album. If there was any question around Diplo being able to turn anyone into a star, this new track truly shows the talent he has in creating pop music.
This isn't the only unexpected collaboration we received this week from XXXTENTACION; he also worked with internet rappers Rich Chigga and Keith Ape to release the incredibly hype song "Gospel." XXXTENTACION has two albums planned for this year, and we can't wait to see which style he goes with for them. Enjoy!

Diplo Drops Hard-Hitting Hip-Hop Collaboration "BANKROLL" With Justin Bieber, Young Thug & Rich The Kid

Justin Bieber Diplo Young thug

Diplo just dropped a wild collab alongside Justin Bieber, Young Thug, and Rich The Kid. The big collaboration is called “BANK ROLL” and is a hard-hitting hip-hop song that’s already sounding great.

The wild beat is the perfect track for these artists to deliver an unlikely collaboration that has Bieber rapping… and actually killing his verse. The catchy hook ties together solid verses from each artist atop the incredible beat that has us wanting more as soon as the song ends. Diplo has the track description saying that the song was co-produced by Diplo Boaz and King Henry. Enjoy!

Watch Diplo Make An Appearance In Hilarious Video Of The Fat Jew's Major Lazer Tribute Band + Interview

Major Behavior Diplo

Back in September, Billboard went behind-the-scenes in a super-exclusive video about The Fat Jew’s Major Lazer tribute band, Major Behavior. The hilarious 3-minute parody interview features Billboard’s Matt Medved talking to Major Behavior about their inspiration behind imitating Major Lazer. For those unfamiliar, their live performances include playing Major Lazer songs through an aux cord. Yesterday Billboard shared another incredible Major Behavior interview with an appearance from Diplo.

This time, the skeptical Matt Medved shows up to a venue where Major Behavior is supposedly playing. While catching up with the tribute band in their green room, The Fat Jew talks about the “countless cities” that they’ve hit on tour, promoting their shows through UBER pools and pokes fun at DJs in general. Diplo actually made an appearance at the show as well. Check out the the interview and groups outrageous performance below and enjoy!
