Diplo Teams With Viceland & James Van Der Beek On New Comedy TV Show “What Would Diplo Do?"

Diplo James Van Der Beek

You may remember a hilarious Mad Decent Block Party promo video in which James Van Der Beek played Diplo in a "Day In The Life of Diplo" skit (below). According to Deadline, Viceland has now taken the hilarious skit to the next level with an entire TV show titled "What Would Diplo Do?" (working title).

Viceland has become one of our favorite TV channels with their edgy, documentary-styled programs like Action Bronson's Fuck That’s Delicious and Traveling The Stars: Action Bronson And Friends Watch And Friends Watch Ancient Aliens. However, Viceland has yet to have a scripted series up until this point. This Diplo program will be the first scripted series on the network.

Diplo and Van Der Beek will serve as the show's executive producers with Van Der Beek also starring / writing the comedy series. It's been described as “Louie meets WorldStar HipHop crossed with This Is Spinal Tap”. The show is expected to launch later in 2017. Enjoy!
