DROELOE Shares Emotional New Single “Sunburn”

DROELOE Sunburn

DROELOE have been cultivating quite a name for themselves over the past year. From their infectious singles “In Time” and “Jump” to their and San Holo’s beautiful collaboration “Lines of the Broken”, the Dutch duo’s unique sound continues to turn heads throughout the electronic music scene. Today they’ve shared yet another incredible single via bitbird titled “Sunburn”.

We’ve been looking forward to this release ever since DROELOE teased it in their Diplo & Friends mix back in May. Starting off with some non-traditional percussion and heavily effected vocals, Dutch singer Isabel Usher’s soft voice floats in, adding an extra level of emotion to the song. A slow-building rise drives the track forward into an intoxicating drop filled with lush, sliding synths, pulsing bass and powerful drumline-inspired percussion. DROELOE’s unorthodox use of bells, vocal effects and truly create a musical experience unique to itself. We can’t wait to see what the future has in store for the. Check out “Sunburn” below and keep an eye out for DROELOE’s full EP A Moment In Time out August 22 also via bitbird. Enjoy!

[PREMIERE] DROELOE Release Chill New Single “Jump” Feat. Nevve

DROELOE Jump artwork

Rising duo DROELOE first popped up on our radar roughly six months ago with their single “Bon Voyage,” a dreamy tune that incorporated glitchy synth patterns, airy vocals and steady percussion to create a unique future bass sound. The Netherlands-based artists have impressed ever since, sharing chill tracks like “See Through Me” and teaming up with San Holo to drop “Lines of the Broken,” one of the year’s most stunning tracks, via bitbird. Today we’re happy to be premiering yet another impressive track from DROELOE, “Jump” feat. Nevve, out now on Monstercat.

Most compelling about “Jump” is the extensive amount of elements seamlessly incorporated into one track. DROELOE tie together synth patterns all across the board, airy vocals and distorted vocal samples, varying percussion styles and more in a clean, masterful way, resulting in a light-hearted future bass track that’s truly innovative. “Jump” is captivating and intricate, especially for a duo that has only been in the music game for a little over a year.

It seems like DROELOE is coming into their own with each and every track they put out, and we can’t wait to see what they have in store for the future. Check out “Jump” below and enjoy!

San Holo and DROELOE Unite To Create Stunning Single "Lines of the Broken"

san droeloe

San Holo and DROELOE, the companions whom just concluded a major US tour together, present their anticipated collaboration “Lines of the Broken” courtesy of San Holo's own record label, bitbird.

"This track has been a long-time coming for us, but when we hit the road together back in March we finally got to wrap it up. Over the last year we've learned a lot from working together with Sander and I feel like we've inspired each other a lot in the process.” – DROELOE

This release is the first since San Holo’s chart-topping single “Light” which, since we covered last November, has accumulated over 58 million plays on Spotify alone. DROELOE have become a favorite of ours here at TSIS and have also seen increasing success recently with their latest track “See Through Me”.

Their new collaboration “Lines of the Broken” features airy vocals from fellow Netherlands-based act, CUT_, and is nothing short of incredible. With high-energy synths and profound 808s in parallel with the engaging vocal tune, this track fuses electronic and pop elements flawlessly. Enjoy!
