GRiZ And Gramatik Reunite As Grizmatik And Share New Single “As We Proceed”

Grizmatik

GRiZ and Gramatik have joined forces as Grizmatik once again! Incredible things happen whenever these two team up and their latest collaborative effort titled "As We Proceed" is their first release in years and builds on past success as they follow up past collaborations "My People" and "#DLIMF".

As We Proceed is about continuing to hold on to the feelings of love and positivity even in the face of such negativity. It’s a piece of encouragement for those feeling the weight of our current cultural climate. -- GRiZ

It’s been a few years since we last heard a new Grizmatik song, and they return to form bringing the funk on “As We Proceed”. There’s no shortage of live instrumentals on this collab as the layering of slick keys and jazzy sax melodies combine with the electronic production for a smooth listen. The rumbling bassline and funky synthesizers pair with gritty bass tones during the drop that all come together so well. Grizmatik has played a handful of shows together and will reunite at Buku this year.

FKJ Shares Extra Smooth New Single "Go Back Home"

FKJ Go Back home artwork

It’s no secret the insanely talented FKJ is one of our favorite artists. The multi-instrumentalist & producer extraordinaire is back with another soulful, funky single "Go Back Home".

FKJ started incorporating his own vocals in his songs and does again here with a repeated, catchy hook. His funky smooth productions consist of looped and layered instruments as he’s a basically a one man band who jumps around from instrument to instrument. His live studio videos are insane and show how talented and versatile of a musician he really is. "Go Back Home" is right in line with his previous work with slick guitar riffs, excellent vocal chops, relaxing keyboard melodies and crisp percussion all coming together in a pleasantly infectious way. He’s been working on an album so we’re thinking there will be an announcement soon. Enjoy!

Paris based producer duo The Geek X Vrv have been making some waves since their Electric City EP released via GRiZ's growing All Good Records. The gents are gearing up for their upcoming follow up release on All Good Records with the forthcoming Origami EP, slated for a spring release and manage to deliver a fresh new remix that packs a cluster of chill vibes into an unlikely creative space.

The Geek X Vrv were commissioned by dance music elite Kaskade to add a playful touch to the single "Us"; a thumping house collaboration with fellow producer CID.
